St John’s has better athletes.

Marquette has better basketball players.

I think our team's athleticism is vastly overrated. There are athletes all over the Big East. There isn't a single player on this team that can run the floor as well as or has the hops of Sir Dom and Jakarr. That team had elite athletes.

Maybe recruit some shooters? Half court offense is so bad it's ridiculous, no movement. 4 dudes standing around and hope someone can make a play with the ball. I'm done with this.

Dunlap was, wait for it, a defensive coaching wizard. I know, I know. Defense. Imagine that.

That was actually a good combo, Lavin with Dunlap.

Have to give Anderson credit, I didn’t think I would ever get the stink of Norm out of my memory. The Hardy led Lavin team couldn’t do it. His NCAA team his final year couldn’t do it. Chris Mullin coming in couldn’t do it. Mullin making the tournament couldn’t do it. But the Anderson stink has finally removed the awful memory of Norm.

How many times after a basket were the Johnnies beat down the court for an easy layup?

And the biggest joke of all are those who say that Andersons teams are known for great defense?? The 40 minutes of hell is actually watching a team that plays little D for 40 minutes.

This team has no resemblance to the teams CMA put on the floor the past 3 seasons. None. And I still don't get it. Pressure D is not a factor. Half court D is a total mess. Rotations are slow. Feet aren't moving. Shooters are ignored for seconds at a time. Team plays soft. I know it all falls on CMA, but I have seen what he can do with lesser talent. Soriano having an unexpected all Big East season, and yet we are far worse than anyone predicted. Someone help out here. It can't all be on CMA.

There is definitely enough talent on this team thst with a good to average coach can win. You can’t tell me the Johnnies don’t have as much talent as the Hall. Anderson himself was touting the talent level this year.

That was actually a good combo, Lavin with Dunlap.

That was ideal, and I don't why more coaches don't do that. It was sort of like our version of Torre and Zimmer.

Even bringing in Whitesell, after Dunlap left, was the right idea by Lavin. Didn't work out, but it was along the same lines.

CMA is obviously delusional with that comment. They gave up 55 F’ing points in the second half!!! Please no more commentary about how CMA’s teams play tough defense.

It's not a cohesive roster. All of our and everybody else's worst fears about the roster when looking at it on paper before the season have proven to be legitimate. Two small ballhandling PGs that can't shoot, one of them being extremely turnover prone. Lack of consistent shooting everywhere else too. Only one big that is capable of playing more than spot minutes at this level. Haven't been able to overcome any of those
