At about this time last season my karma was about +25. Before this season started it was beyond -100. By sticking with this team, it went to -220. There are guys who give you minus' just to needle you. For weeks on end during the offseason there were one or two guys who would log on multiple times per day to minus me whether I posted or not. Don't let it bother you, it doesn;t mean anything
In some ways last night's game was as encouraging as any we've had during this run. We played far from our best game (11-35 from 2!) and still did exactly what we were supposed to do, handling a lesser team comfortably on the road. Getting results on an night where not firing on all cylinders is a sign of a team playing at a very high and confident level.
Four guys giving 40 minutes and Obekpa giving 32 coming off injury is just an incredible effort. On to Nova!

I wasn't going to sign on again until tomorrow night, just read the board. I seen this post and gotta reply.
There's one clown that signs on just give me minus karma, it's the idiot that called me Realfan (I won't mention who the idiot is.), but see I can play that same game. Just keep on giving him minus right back.
The funny thing is the chump doesn't even post. Didn't see him post after last nights big win, yeah he knows who he is. Oh time to get him again.

It's common sense. You could real as a guest. So you're doing something if you're signing on.

Instead of collectively rejoicing for something every single one of us has been begging to do for years by making the tourney, we have guys having a pissing contest.
That being said:
Great win last night. I didn't stay up for the whole game but looks like Sheed may be coming of age.
And they can hand the POY award to their darlings Hillard or Dunn but Dom is doing what nobody in the country is doing right now. And half of his stats from the defensive side of the ball won't even show up.
If they don't give Dom POY, they should make him All-BE First Team, Most Improved Player and in the running for Defensive POY.
2013-2014: 5.9 PPG, 44% FG, 3.2 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.2 SPG, 1.1 BPG
2014-2015: 13.9 PPG, 53% FG, 7.7 RPG, 3.0 APG, 2.0 SPG, 2.5 BPG

To me the best part of last night was watching DLO dribble out the clock with 30 seconds left. The exaltation of "we finally did it" was so apparent and awesome to see. We know what this means to this group and its finally nice having 98% of us backing them come hell and high water. Makes the site much more pleasant

I don't believe you can tell (except maybe Paul), but I do believe I've earned a few from you. Some day maybe we'll meet - I have no malice towards you, and I think if we spoke we'd settle our perceived differences if we are both reasonable guys.

You'd have been a riot during the Inquisition.
For the most part I'm just intolerant of absurd posts, and when people make ridiculous assertions they can't defend, negative karma results. Most people have become very civil here, and outcropping of winning. But when we lose, the venom comes out. Guaranteed, bid or not, if we lose tomorrow and in the first round of the BET, it returns in abundance.

It will be interesting to see how tired/winded we look on Saturday against Nova. On the first game, we were competitive and within striking distance until the 10 minute mark of the second half. Then it got downright ugly below the 6 minute mark. Hoping adrenaline gets us through on Saturday.
In the first game, D'Lo was hurt right before the half and it impacted him the rest of the game. Obekpa twisted his ankle and missed most of the second half, and Pointer fouled out with just under 8 minutes to go. We weren't winded in the first game, we just ran out of healthy players. As for last night, I agree we didn't look winded and really haven't over these past few weeks.
