Marquette- 2nd Game

I liked this win because it was an example of taking care of business against a team we should beat. In the past, we would sweat this game out, or even drop it completely. Right now, the team seems to expect to win every time out. That's a good place to be.

To their credit, Marquette didn't fold. They could easily have made this a game, but we kept hitting big shot after big shot, especially from 3, to keep them at bay. By no means an easy win, but a hard fought one
 
Funny how no one is talking about our guys being winded. You only look tired when you lose.

Or when the other team actually makes you work for it. Marquette really didn't make us defend...a ton of early turnovers and deep shots.

I must be top 5 hated posters at this point...probably -300 karma by the time we dance in a few weeks. I just hope the ballroom lessons pay off by then.

Gotta give Marillac credit. He was not only making a bold call when a lot of us didn't know or think we could do it but he was finding those crazy ass shoes on ebay and making bets on it and the team back his prediction up.

It was basically the betting version of getting up to home plate and calling a home run to left field in front of the crowd
