Lovett

He didn't look hobbled running on to the court! The only thing that could make this more surreal is if robbed the Dunkin Donuts on Union Turnpike while wearing makeup and a blonde wig.:(

So what's the deal with him? He has to be impressed with these last two games. Said he is not sure if he is coming back next year. Should we even take him back? Is it worth the drama? Talent wise obviously but him and his pops have rubbed people the wrong way this year, what do you guys think?

Lovett missed out on what will likely be two of the most exciting moments in his basketball life this past week. Heck, who knows if we would have even won the game with him.

Twenty five years from now, our guys can tell friends and alums all about beating the #1 and #4 teams when they had lost 11 straight games. Lovett can tell his friends that he saw it all happen.

Just read Michael Porter planning to play this year. Not concerned about risking his status as a top ten pick.
Nor re-injury I guess. Thought your post was going to say he was going to play for them next year. I have heard in some quarters that he is still projected as the number one overall pick.

It's a shame man, wish it could of worked out with him. If LoVetts knee is that bad he should probably make sure he gets his degree because he could still get hurt again wherever he goes. At least he can have a college degree to fall back on.

This whole Lovett situation is incredibly confusing. If he does not come back, where exactly is going next year? Is a Euro team really going to fork over big $$ on a guy who is seemingly so injury-prone?

Despite the PR games being played by his father, I'd freakin' love to have him back next year if he can stay healthy.

Maybe Lovett's dad can get Ball's dad to hook him up in Europe. Good luck with that.

I have no idea about Lovett but I'll assume he is targeting something abroad next season. Their is decent money somewhere I guess. I do know one thing, he won't get a sniff in the NBA. He is G League at best. That will not pay a lot. I hope someone is not filling his head with an oversized view of his skillset. I don't want him to end up in Omar Cook-ville. Even though, I don't like how this is ending I do wish him luck.

It is a very odd situation. Was on the court pre-game speaking at length to our AD as well.
dont get it. He was at last 2 home games was on court before and after but doesn’t join timeout huddles as is the case for the 3 kids sitting out.

I tried to post a reply here not sure if it went through
Spoke w MLovett today
He was sitting nearby - he let me take his pix ( I attached it in the Marquette topic)
I asked two questions:
How are you doing
Are you going to play again

Both responses = kind, somewhat meek smiles and a shrug

Sooo IMO he’s not wearing our jersey again
And as many have suggested =
