Kyle Anderson PG (UCLA)

... Besides, a great number of posters on these boards---graduates of our esteemed alma mater---commit some serious grammatical errors. I'm not sure you can judge their intelligence either. This isn't the proper forum for that.

Aint that the turth.

Tom ,whats the baffling part? If he comes close to averaging a triple double he's All-American.
It's only been three games against low majors--two are 30+ point blowouts. There are some crazy averages so far for many players. Anderson wouldn't crack the top 20 right now. For example, Harrison is averaging 26 points,4.5 bords, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals right now against better competition.

UCLA has three guys averaging over 7 boards a game thus far. They also get Travis Wear back next game. Anderson's rebounds figure to fall--although he did average 8.6 last year, but Parker figures to play a much bigger role. I still think this kid should get out of UCLA.

He will get out of UCLA
He'll declare for the NBA draft after the season is over

He might not even be a second rounder at this point.

Those guys are a dime a dozen. And all of them are throwing elbows at me down at the local park.

I think he has a unique skill set -- he definitely sees plays developing three and fours steps ahead. But I've never seen anyone with that type court awareness trapped in such a shitty body.

Shitty body? He's 6'9 and long as hell. For as slow as he is, he's actually really effective at getting past his man.

Lamar Odom with better court awareness?

He is almost the same body as Lloyd Daniels. Daniels was slow but to be honest this kid does not have half the talent that Daniels had. The kids first step is way too slow for the NBA and he is just not that great of a shooter to really play the three. He's smart and knows how to get position to rebound so hopefully his IQ gets him further than his body will. I was not impressed with him coming out of St. Anthony's, thought he was way too overrated. I spoke to Adam Zagoria and he loved him coming out of HS says that he is deceptively fast but I just dont see it at all.

I never got to see Lloyd Daniels play in HS. Every time I went to a game, by the time I got there, he had already transferred. :) His legend was incredible.

stats through six games

12.5 pts 9.8 rebs, 7.3 asts, 1.2 blks, 1.5 stls

This kid sucks :p

obviously the kid is very talented but compared to what he was thought to be right away was little off. Most thought he was a one and done and a top 5 pick. If he comes out this year he may not be a top 20 pick with the strength of this class. Trust me, i would love to have him and hope Rysheed developes.

I think he is exceeding his college expectations. Seriously how could he be much better? Maybe score a few more points a game but its not because hes shooting poorly, its because he is a team player. Actually let me change that, he is a basketball player. Did most people really think he was a top 5 one and done? I dont think so, and if people did they are the ones who are underachieving.
