Kudos Posh

Time to end analysis
just play
I'm confident the coach and players are determined to grab a W tonight
how sweet that would be
play hard as they usually do
and how far the program has come since April 2019 when our new regime began!
go Storm
thanks for such a nice season!

St. John's coach Mike Anderson tells me Posh Alexander (thumb) did more in practice on Monday and is trending in the right direction to play on Thursday. Will still be a game-time decision. #sjubb

In less than 2 years Van Macon has brought in two severely under-recruited NYC players that go on to win BE ROY/Defensive POY and the BE Most-Improved/First team all-league player.

Amazing.

Amazing.
And also with CMA improved a number of recruiting relationships in short order. Kudos Van!

Amazing.

And if another under recruited New Yorker, Hassan French, felt the urge to come home and play one more year with Van then he could. We would just need to find a ship for him.

Posh is relentless on the court and has gradually morphed into a team leader this season
He is most deserving of the Freshman of the Year Award
Can't wait to see his development over the next 3 years
He is going to be a First Team All Big East player real soon!!!

I remember arguing with posters who didnt think he would start

Agree Moose.  I was certain Posh would destroy his ranking.  The next one up is Pinzon, who is going to be a silky-smooth wing who will be that 3rd high level guy in the starting lineup.  I'd put money on it.  He's going to push for rookie of the year next season.  He's going to blow away expectations too. I hope Drissa and Stanley can exceed expectations with their respective motors out there.  We still won't be big next year but we will be deep.

Pressure bursts pipes and makes diamonds.
The added playing time, and chance to lead the squad, have revealed Julian and Posh to be diamonds.  Knowing that this year, instead of next year is a HUGE bonus for this teams future recruiting.

St. John's PG Posh Alexander underwent thumb surgery today. This was clearly no ordinary sprain. #sjubb
