Knicks

I know he sucked after the trade, but the Knicks may want to think about getting Alec Burks some minutes to give the backcourt guys a break. They can't keep this pace up, no matter how much heart and grit they have. The Pacers have real good depth and will wear them out if Thibs keeps running these guys out there with no rest.

Nebhard, Jackson, McConnell, Shepard, and Naismith played very well at the same time and the Knicks still found a way to win. That is a positive.

Sure Halliburton did not play well, but hasn’t he been slumping for a while now?

I would give Burks a couple of early minutes to see if he can get something going off the bench. The Knicks are gutting out wins without a starter (Randle) and bench guy (Bogie).

Love this team. They are very close to championship caliber, both in terms of talent and effort.

Losing Bogdanovic hurts a lot but boy does this team play hard.

Someone had to win this game, but i don't think the Pacers lost it. If the game went even a minute or two more outcome could have been different.

The moving pick call, technically correct call, but this basically happens on 90% of picks. If you challenged offensive foul calls in the big east, a bunch would get reversed because the defender wasn't set.

While getting a call right is important, my guess is that the refs get fouls or no-calls wrong 20% of the time.

Kudos to Pat Riley, Heat prez for telling Butler to just shut up about proclaiming with him the Heat would beat the Knicks.

How many Pacer fans are rooting for Anunoby to do well? Another guy who is fun to watch and who can really play.

Mitchell Robinson doesn't ever have to worry about looking old. At 26 he already looks 45.

While do I get the feeling that if Thibodeau faulters, Jay Wright gets a blank check offer?

Man it is refreshing that these Knicks don't trash talk, back talk refs, or any other theatrics. Just hard nosed closed mouth basketball.

Thank you Nova guysvet al. You've awakened millions of dormant Knick fans.

Agree on playing Burks a few minutes in first half but rather than seeing what he can do would tell him only shot he can take is an ahead of the field layup. 😊

The ability to appeal a call is giving the Knicks what seems like extended time outs at critical times. The Knicks are going to have to use this appeal option for as long as they are alive.
I think it’s also in their favor that Minn is looking like they will knock out Denver. Minn look very strong but I don’t see how Brunson and Hart could compete in Denver’s rarefied air effectively playing forty six minutes.

If Minny can throttle Denver they won’t have much trouble with the Knicks and I’ve been a Knick fan from the early to mid sixties.
