Knicks trade Porzingis

to Dallas. Dont like this
For who??? F'ing retarded knicks.
Better be for 2 1st rnd picks.
KP, Hardaway, Lee, and Burke, in exchange for Dennis Smith Jr., Deandre Jordan, and Wes Matthews (the last two are expiring contracts).

Not a great return IMO (although they probably should have drafted Smith 2 years ago), but at least they got rid of Hardaway. Lee too, is a long term deal, so there's cap relief, but why the heck would Durant want to come play here, now?

EDIT: First rounder going to the Knicks in this deal too, apparently. Dallas is currently 12th in the West, so the Knicks could have two high picks this year.

The Post is reporting that they will be getting 1 first rounder.

The players they took on have expiring contracts. By dealing away Hardaway and Lee (neither of whom I've ever been a big fan of), they feel it will open the door for 2 max players via free agency. The question is though, who wants to come here?

If the Knicks can sign Durant and Kyrie to go along with a top pick it could turn out to be the best day in the last fifty years in Knickland.

That's the only way this works out, IMO.

If they miss out, then it's a waste, because I'm not sold on Zion as an NBA player. He's kind of that classic 3-4 tweener, who really has no position. 3's are going to be too quick for him, and 4's may be too tall. Unless you shoot the ball like Durant, the NBA has been going away from that type of player for quite some time.

Going to get 4th pick in Draft that is top 3 heavy and going to get shut out on top FA's
Don't trust the process!!!!!!!

Hearing not this year's pick.
Knicks hopeless

Everyone mentioning Kyrie. In 7 seasons you can say he's played a full season 3 times. Hardly a guy that should be a max deal as he continues to get older.

Just so everyone knows there is no master plan at play here. We are talking about the Knicks. Just a bad trade

My second choice, after Durant, would actually be Kawhi Leonard.

Being a Knick fan is way more challenging then being a Johnny fan. Only way they should be trading Porzingis is as part of a deal to get AD unless they know for sure Durant is going to come.
