Keegan Bradley

Keegan Bradley has jumped into the Top ten in the World rankings after
his third place finish this past weekend at Arnold Palmer Bay Hill event.
Jumped ahead of Phil Mickelson. Great quote by Mickelson on Keegan last week.
" I have learned a lot from Keegan." Who is the teacher and who is the student !!

Keegan Bradley exploded yesterday for a course record 60 at The Byron Nelson Classic, breaking the course record in the process.
Even made 2 bogies along the way. USGA Open News : 3 members of this years team, Pat Wilson, Dylan Crowley and Jeremy Quinn
all successfully advanced through 1st stage of Qualifying and will play in USOpen Sectional at Old Oaks CC and Century CC the first week in
June. Two other STJ golf alumni, Jesse Fitzgerald and Greg Bisconti, also advanced. Andrew Svoboda from The PGA Tour was exempt into
the sectional event as well. Andrew Svoboda has made the cut at The Byron Nelson Classic today on rounds of 70 - 69.
Mike Diffley, STJGolf Hall of Famer, won the Met PGA Senior Match Play last week at Round Hill Club in Greenwich.

Had a great time at The Open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Followed Keegan quite a bit on Tuesday's practice round.

Watched him for 3-4 holes on Thursday.

Met a young lady who has a brother who played on the St. John's golf team with KB.

Was wearing a St. John's shirt and hat at the Open all 3 days. Had a more than a few say to me: "I guess you're cheering for Keegan"

Not too shabby for a NYC school to have 2 guys playing in our national championship.

Keeg finished tied for 15th and hauled in 95K for his efforts. Not bad for a week's work. Phil made it a great watch. Woods was heard saying G Damn it three times. What a class act..........NOT!!! Great scene with Phil's family hugging. I wonder if Tiger's multitude of skanks would have gathered round if he'd won? A reporter gave Tigey a chance to congratulate Phil afterward and he typically blew it. Don't know why so many people follow him.

Keegan's 70 and 71 in the last 2 rounds were impressive. He might have been closer if he scored better in rounds 1 and 2.. Still, at his age, he's a rising PGA star..Hope he challenges in the PGA at Oak Hill.

Rory? Who?

Or if he played better in the first two rounds there might have been some actual pressure on him over the weekend to which it is unsure how he would have responded. He's been in a bit of a slump, for him, but this is the first time he's scored better on the weekend than on Thu/Fri since March. That's a KPI in golf.

All true. He's still only 2-3 years on the tour. Learning how to be a more consistent player should come with experience.. His enthusiasm is great but, sometimes gets out of control and affects his game.

As does his displeasure with bad shots.. He'll learn. He has a big game and his peers know it.

He's young and takes a couple too many chances but he is a great driver of the golf ball and a tenacious grinder. Like you said, a couple more years of polish and he could be a great one. Then again hard to keep count of the number of guys I've said that about the last 20 years who didn't quite make it to greatness. Good luck to him.

This promises to be a terrific show. Feherty is a riot and the clips have been really good. A chance to really get to know a real SJU icon in his prime. It's on at 10 PM on the Golf Channel. A must watch for Saint Johns sports fans. Enjoy!

Thanks, just set my DVR (nee TIVO). :)

The show was excellent as expected. The kid is a total class act living a dream in Florida. Must be making a fortune with ads etc. He gave SJU nice props and is a credit to the school. I'm proud of him and hope he piles up a bunch of wins in the coming years. Feherty diving off his dock was a scream and he was more considerate than usual. Good stuff.
