Kadary

Kadary and Luis are 1A and 1B right now.
Offensively I assume? Since we win by defending, wearing teams down, ranking should including both factors and it seems Zuby belongs a high spot combining two facets of game.

Luis provides the one thing this team can’t do and he also is our 2nd best rebounder and plays D.
If lost Luis season would be over, probably same with Zuby. But the three form as good a big 3 as we have had since the Jarvis team. Need all 3 to play well if we are going to make noise in the tournament.
I'm not saying it to belittle RJ. He's definitely evolving into looking like a Big East Player of the Year type guy -- which is insane to type, but I think is true.

But Kadary is the guy we need with the ball in his hands at the end of games too. He organizes the offense better, always get us the best possible shot, and is also the guy who's most likely to get us a steal. He's also been absolutely money -- again, similar to RJ -- in late games where we'd lose without him.

Yeah, I'm talking end of game/alpha offensively. Team totality, Zuby is 1C because he -- notwithstanding last night -- is the main reason we clean up on the glass, teams can't P&R, and are a brutal opponent in the paint.

To dk’s point about Kadary & RJ, both have been tremendous. What fascinates me about KR is his ability, even when silent points wise like last night, never gets rattled. At key times he flat out huge plays, be it scoring, hitting open guy or making crafty steals.

Opponents I’m sure at crunch time fear the ball in his hands more than anyone. He just has ice in his veins at mega important times.

KR’s FT form is terrible. He doesn’t bend his knees, shoots only from the wrist with a poor follow-through. No rythm to his shot.

Very slow heartbeat and high BB IQ make for a player who elevates those around him. Richmond certainly isn't a guy who is going to light the scoreboard up, but he does all of the little things very well. Truly a winning player.

Pitino was saying to him "loose hands" and shaking out hands when he was going to FT line

Nova over Gtown
NC State over Houston
Kadary once shooting over 80% from the line
The three most amazing college basketball things I have seen in my life.

Luis in BE play is scoring 4.5 more points than Richmond on 3.5 more shots. Richmond shooting better from the field and over 50%.

Richmond also close to triple the assists, double the steals, double the blocks, with less TOs.

Kadary is playing as we all expected him to play outside of his foul shooting. The diving for loose ball and throwing the ball ahead was my favorite play of the season.
Kadary does everything I wanted “he who shall not be named” to do last year: gets all the way to the basket, draws fouls like crazy, doesn’t need to dominate the dribbling, passes the ball out to players, doesn’t leave his feet in the lane with no plan, and is happy to defer to others. He’s one of the best teammates I’ve ever witnessed here.

Him and RJ are locked in. They don’t compete for shots with each other…it’s a complementary relationship.

There was a play last night Kadary didn’t make the shot but he was at the top of the foul line and then just exploded to the basket around defenders. Didn’t make it but that’s was a wow moment

Tell you what though, and I love Sim and Dev. Big time. But imagine the usual starting 5 but with "he who shall not be named" play in a 2-guard role with KR and the usual front line?

We're either unbeaten or have only one loss to Tennessee in the Baha Mar championship game. I wasn't a big DJ guy but I love him in that role.

What was hilarious was late in the second half KR got fouled and Wilcher walked up the floor doing the same gesture as he looked at Pitino with a crooked smile on his face. I love that kid.

Of the top 30 BE scorers, Kadary is 5th in shooting %.

Hes also ranks overall in the BE:
6th in assists
4th in steals
11th in blocks
16th in rebounding

An All BE team is not out of the question if he keeps up his all around play these second half of BE play.
Kadarys BE ranks

21st in scoring
12th rebounding
6th in assists
3rd in steals
11th in blocks

Average ranking of 10.6 across those 5 stats is the lowest ranking among all BE players.
