Kadary

Looking at those charts the thing that actually stands out the most to me is the lack of assisted makes he has and BartTorvik backs that up.

Those low assisted %s aren't surprising but just shows how absolutely pointless it is having Kadary on the floor if the offense isn't running through him. Having a non shooting Guard/Wing on the floor who isn't doing much else off the ball is just a killer as he pretty much doesn't have to be guarded at all

Put him at the foul line or have him flash there. Devon will get him the ball there. He's other unstoppable or would dump it down to Zuby and/or even Vince or Reuben for easy buckets. Why not?

I've seen lots of chatter lately here about getting Zuby the ball more down low. And while I agree Zuby should get more touches overall, throwing him the ball down low and letting him go to work isn't likely to work too well.

A) He's not really that type of player. Sure, he can sometimes score 1 on 1 after catching the ball with his back to the basket but he's better using his speed and athleticism to go around guys and than he is going to work on the block like Soriano.

B) This roster isn't built to play through the post. Last year Pitino knew he would be running the offense through Soriano and tried to surround him with guys that can shoot and allow him space to operate and even that roster wasn't great at it. This year's roster clearly isn't a shooting roster so teams will always be able to send help into the post without fear of getting burned by it.

Man guys, how about everyone else today?

Right now in a game we are getting killed on the glass, KR has 6 D boards while the rest of our guys have 10 combined.
If he gives that same effort on the offensive glass, we will be very tough to beat. I don't understand the discrepancy. He hasn't been serving up our shooters like he is capable either. Both are correctable.

He served up 4/5 against butler that were great looks and unfinished.

Great stuff. What site is this.

Looks like 10 for 22 from midrange. I'm still not remembering how ugly the 12 misses look :)

I'm getting the feeling folks have different definitions of mid range.

What's yours?

Mine is a jump shot around the perimeter of the key and inside the 3 pt arch.

There are a lot of blue dots inside the key but I don't consider those mid range.

From 6 ft to inside FT range at the college level. I guess it depends if you break it down to three levels of shooting or four. I choose four. Layups, mid range, outside jumpers and 3's. Not saying I'm right just the way I look at things. We know KR's range doesn't extend to 15 ft right now but I'm comfortable with him shooting from my definition of midrange.

I consider anything within a half step inside the 3pt line a terrible look, I’d consider anything from there to 6 feet a mid range shot. Closer than that an inside look, and rarely taken in the form of a jumpshot.

I get it. I just see a big difference between 6'1" and 20'6". Pretty broad range there.
