Kadary

These are good but misleading...

Might also be only player averaging 4.5 assists & shooting 20% from 3 and < 50% from FT
Don’t see anyone shooting worse than him from the line. See 5 guys shooting 20% or below from 3. See a lot of guys shooting less than the 47% he does from the field.

Kid plays indifferent at best. Don’t care that he can’t shoot, the way he plays is distracting. And again I am not floor burn guy but cmon.
But you loved AJ Storr? Trust me man I’m yelling at the tv to drive on the floor. But kadary contributes in every way on the court other than scoring. And he just so happens to be damn good at that too.

It is never going to happen, but starting lineup should be our clear best four of Zuby, Luis , Smith and Wilcher with Scott as the glue guy.

Richmond should be 6th man. With a second unit of Vince, Prey and Glover. He is a good passer and could get those guys good shots particularly Vince and Prey down low. Plus Vince back there to cover when he lets his man go by him, without worrying about Zuby getting fouls.
Combined per 40 minute averages of Scott, wilcher, and Glover:
12.6 rebs
5.5 assists

Kadary per 40:
7 rebs
6 assists

lol you watch Josh hart? What’s his best skill? Ever seen Storr go for a rebound that didn’t land in his hands?
I can appreciate Hart guys but like watching skilled offensive players. Listen if Kadary played hard and was least a willing defender I couldn’t care less that he can’t shoot.
But his offensive deficiencies on top of his lazy play is hard to watch.

Yeah but you threw offense stats against more efficient players who all also play harder than him. Have to tell you for all of your favorites that I didn’t understand, this one is the most confusing for me.
Rebounds?

I threw assists in because it seems you forget there are other ways to be a good offensive player besides having a pretty jump shot

What’s misleading about him being the only guy doing that?
Misleading might not have been right word...

Only that it's pointing out exceptions that are positives...and not where he is severely struggling below anything even average at D1 level let alone a pre-season 1st team major conf player.

I like Kadary and he does do little things Ike deflections and blocks that go almost unnoticed. What I can’t see anyone making an argument for is that he gives his full effort like the other guys. It’s just not the case and it has been on display in spurts basically every game. Why that is? I don’t think anyone knows. The fact that he contributes and has positives to his game and doesn’t hustle often enough can be true at the same time.

The simple fact is if Walter Berry, Chris Mullin or Malik Sealy played as indifferent as Richmond, then you would have to overlook it. A flawed player like Richmond, not so much.

Just my assessment but the guy has elite body control and the quickest hands you’ll see. Never has been a shooter I don’t know what would make anyone think that would change at this change in his career.

If I had a bone to pick like most it would be the hustle. The ball is loose at his feet and he is 10/10 times not going to get down to get it. But then again ask yourself how many times you’ve seen a player take a charge in a game this year? Money changes things lol!
