Justin Simon Has Committed

Is he a pg or sg? There has been some discussion about this on JJ.

To me from the clips, he looks like combo guard. If he is as good as folks here think, I could see him running at times with LoVett & Ponds. Then you have speed, a little size (Simon) & two ball Hawks in Ponds & Simon. Time will tell. One thing appears likely, assuming core of roster remains intact, this team will have a lot of depth & flexibility when Simon & Clark arrive. It won't be too shabby next season either.

After what we went through this season it will be great to see three players on the floor that can all handle the ball.

anyone see the PSA Cardinals coach calling us out on Twitter. What the hell is up with that

I just saw that particular tweet. That is one of a few reasons why I don't care where our recruits come from, per their locale. Some people are so, caught up in NYC recruits, when it doesn't matter where they come from, as long as they can play ball, IMO.

This staff has shown themselves all over the area, and this is what they get in return. Now, I know the PSA coach doesn't speak for all the area coaches, but it just reiterates one of the reasons why I wouldn't care about having a team of mainly out-of-towners.

By the way, solid job by the staff, per landing Clark and Simon. If they nab Livingston, and things break our way during the season, then we could find possibly find ourselves amongst the top 6 teams in the Big East.

I was thinking 14/15 wins next year, but add Livingstone an d we're probably top6 in the B.E. 18-19 wins could get us into the NIT as Redmennorth said.

I'd say Sima is our C, Livingston PF, Yakwe SF, Lovett PG, Ellison SF (Unless Ponds just tears it up in practice.)
We'll have a nice bench too.

Welcome Justin, looking forward to watching you play.

Ahmed starts at the 3

No doubt

Then who sit, Yakwe or Livingston? I'd guess Livingston.
I think Livingston will get a lot of time at the 4 and 5. We need a big beefy guy to go up against some of the trucks we come across

I really want this kid on our team

These people don't

AZ was loaded at guard this past year (or is that every year). Only lose York. And they have 3 top 50 guards signed in the incoming class.
