Fair enough. Where'd the post you just made talking about how you expect we'll upgrade from him? Deleted?lawmanfan post=427452 said:Windy City Johnny Fan post=427450 said:More addition by subtraction. You all need to stop with "addition by subtraction" posts. There is no reason whatsoever to dump on kids who chose to come here and gave the program what they had. It doesn't work out for everyone (at any school) - when a kid did nothing wrong here and chooses to pursue opportunities elsewhere, the thing to do is wish them well and hope that the staff uses the open scholarship wisely.

OK - all i meant by addition by subtraction was hope that it will ultimately result in an upgrade. Not all that different from what you said.lawmanfan post=427454 said:Windy City Johnny Fan post=427453 said:Fair enough. Deleted and then combined with my reply to you so it wouldn't be a double post.

And I have full confidence that they will do exactly that. And it evens Paultz up for the beer he owes me if Josh transfers.
absolutely LFM!
it’s very easy (careless) to be insensitive to other people and spew out unkind words. If all of us, myself included, would get in the habit of pausing and thinking before we speak we’d have a kinder more loving environment to live in. These are young kids and we need all the good talented successful young kids we can get!
all the best Mr. Roberts!!! You have your own talent and life path and will succeed!

As RMN said, disappointed but not shocked. Had hoped Josh could provide some valuable minutes off the bench, and some senior continuity and leadership. With another shoe likely to drop, I am concerned about the large turnover at one time. Especially since, as we all know, CMA's system takes a while for the new kids to learn. Agree we have a solid nucleus, but an upgrade in talent is paramount it we are to take another step forward next year.I don't think we can bank on the Freshman to provide that upgrade right out of the gate. The sky is not falling by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad bit worried right now.
