It is insane to over analyze a decision an 18 or 19 year old is making about what college he will be attending. There are issues that transcend location, staff and playing in MSG.
If the choice regarding college was logical, every player would play at a school where they would start immediately and immediately show that they are stars. Logic does not explain why players chose Duke, Carolina, UCLA, Kentucky, Lousville, etc. when the players in front of them are future lottery picks and there is no guarantee of playing time. I for one, say cut the kid and his advisor a break and let them make a choice. They already made a poor choice in Cincy, so lets hope any choice they make now is the correct one for a talented player, who needs to coaching to make it to the next level.

So we would be OK to start a thread on this site and give it the title, "Hey (insert recruits name here), don't come to SJU...the fans don't want you here!!" ? I mean, how is it possible to not let websites like these as well as social media affect your decision making in some way?
 
What team would want the circus of a documentary filming for a single player?
The better question might be who the hell would watch a documentary about a player from the MAAC that has two arms? Why stop at the MAAC...why not do a documentary on Marco Baldi at the Rockaway YMCA?

NBA teams are going to see this kid running scared from the big boys after things didn't work out. Add to that the circus of a documentary...uphill for this kid. He's not Wiggins.

The rants came after she tried to strong-arm the SJU coaches with outlandish demands. She has no business making career altering basketball decisions for this kid! The blame ultimately lies with the family that seems to have put their "faith" in her hands. A shame because if he ever learns to shoot he would be a terrific player. Absent that ability on his resume he would be one of 4 forwards who need to earn starters minutes with "earn" being the key word. Personally, I think she is the one who poisoned the well and not the Maven.

Honestly, I could see this horrible woman steering JL to Manhattan for the sole purpose of documenting simultaneous "redemption" stories.

Jack, most fans here that follow NYC recruits and Jermaine in particular know who she is. I had a post that got deleted when I alluded to her name without naming her. The woman does not have a clue and is profiteering off his family. One reason we stay away from some local recruits is they surround themselves with delusional backers. I will take a kid from small town USA that can shoot 50% and connect on 45% from three any day with no backers than have a kid that is no better than a sixth man that cannot shoot and makes the apple basket go bad.

I believe her name is Alexis something or other. I also believe your post was deleted due to use of derogatory names towards both her and JL (female dog and female anatomy part IIRC). While I didn't delete it, I can't say I disagree with the decision to do so. Relatedly, would you prefer, in the future, that we simply edit your post to remove the offensive terms?

I have no issue in you guys editing my colorful language as long as you do not edit my lmfao, WTF, or kma. :p Her name is spelled Alexes.
 
And she's directing a documentary on his college career? If so, it makes sense why she would want him to go mid major. She will have footage of him being the number one scoring option and probably scoring close to 20 PPG.

It was clear, rawdog. I mentioned the Bearcats forum because everyone posting here seemed reluctant to give her name whereas it was openly mentioned there.
