Jaren Sina

Gibbs has transferred once already. I think the rules are that if he transfers after graduating, he will need to get a waiver from SH. Not sure if Willard would go for another BE team taking him.

You mean the coach who was going to revolutionize coaching by so cooly hiring assistants?

Dare Willard to do that. I want him to look worse than he already does. How is that deal with Tiny working for you?

not long back, some were comparing the lack of Whitehead capitulation as our defining moment of ineptitude.

a tad dramatic, no? :)

Zagsblog reported Sina as saying he feared for his safety . WTF is going on over there, what's tiny doing about it.

Here's the thing about Seton Hall, they were good for 4 days, from New Year's Eve til Jan 3, St Johns to Nova. The 12-2 start was due to a soft OOC schedule. Only 1 team in the top 90 RPI in the win column. GW at 62. They lost to the only good teams on their OOC, Wich St and Georgia, and as we have seen, since Jan 3 they have only 1 quality win in conference to go with 3 bad losses. Better beat them at CA. That's all I can say.

Willard was hardly the first to hire a recruit's HS coach and he won't be the last. That said, the situation in South Orange is a complete trainwreck.

Old rule which has been off the books for years was you had to wait two years to transfer within the BE.. Rule in effect now is you can't transfer within conference so Sina nor Gibbs will be suiting up here.

Of course not. But the Tiny hire, complete with his own press conference was an instant classic.

True, but wizard that he is, I think Willard is likely the first to do it two times in the same recruiting cycle with the same position.

A month ago everyone on this board had Seton Hall envy… Now not so much

I am guilty of this. I thought they were in a great position. That is, apparently, not the case.

yea well I am still worried about the game we have with them.

Not sure it could have been called it a "great situation." Willard is a poor recruiter with a less-than-stellar coaching reputation, and as of today, the only 2015 recruit the Hall received a commitment from is a two-star SG from San Diego. Hardly a great follow-up to this year's freshmen class -- a class that was expected to be without Whitehead next year.
