Some guy who covers URI on twitter says that his sources are telling him that Terrell and Abu will no longer be considered a package deal

If it 's true, it's good news for us. Although we're on his final list, Terrell has been quoted as saying he's looking for PT, which is something we can't give him. I'd love to have him, but if that's the case (looking for PT, that is), it keeps our chances alive of landing Abu, who's #1 on my wish list ... and probably on Lavin's, too.

Terrell has said he wants to play PG. I don't think this is the best place for him. Until he said that, I wanted him. Now, not so much.

Having watched him play, if what you say is true, and I am not implying you are incorrect, SJU is not the place for him. Jared is a 2 guard through and through.

Bottom line is the staff has us involved with a great deal of top level talent and I for one could care less if they came from Queens or Alaska, i just want to win in a major way like we did in the early to mid 80s when the Garden was rocking and there was not a ticket to be had for any games. You bought your season tickets or you were out of luck, unless perhaps we were playing St. Francis.
We are being listed with multiple talented players and Lavin will get his share, he always does.

Sorry to say that I have to agree with Andrew2. Cooley at present is enough of a threat and we don't need him taking his program to an increased level. More and more kids are going to prep school which benefits Cooley as a result of their close proximity.
