Isaiah Whitehead, SG (Seton Hall verbal)

Additional recruiting asset

“@sheedjordan: @Isaiah_W15 LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN BOI IT'S ONLY RIGHT!”

Clearly he did. You can see his reflection in Lav's glasses.
I think your right because when I zoom to Keady's glasses I think I see a reflection of him holding a piece of paper that says LOI

If you zoom even more, you'll see three LOIs -- Whitehead, Okafor, and Alexander. And McCullough in the far distance talking to Chiles about decommitting.[/quote]

Ha ha. That's 4 LOIs. I need to see those glasses. I know Whitehead and McCullough talked about playing together, but that would be a crazy way to get there.

Aside from being a St John's fan if we get IW it's commits like these right now that arent just huge for St John's. These type of kids are huge for our new Big East Conference. Sends a big message to other recruits, coaches and fans that our new conference is big time

2 things:

1) From Whitehead's tweet "it's only right!", it gives me the impression that it's "only right" to stay home in NYC. Yes Jersey is close to NYC but it's still Jersey and another state entirely. It seems he has a loyalty to the city...that's what I pickup from that tweet at least.

2) The comment from the heartbroken Indiana fan on herehttp://247sports.com/Article/Isaiah...-Johns-or-Seton-Hall-150198?Referer=CBSSPORTS is hilarious. He says Whitehead will go "unnoticed on the East coast". That's about as opposite as you can get. I guess he hasn't heard of East Coast bias. NYC is the mecca, media capital, sports capital, everything capital. If it's happening in NYC it's always bigger. Forget Texas.

EDIT: Oops, sorry read the tweet wrong...thought that was Sheed saying that to Whitehead...I thought it was just Whitehead tweeting it out to the public. Anyway, that all but confirms it IMO with Jordan saying that.

Of course;

“@NYPost_Brazille: Multiple sources have said Isaiah Whitehead visit went very well to St. John's. Of course, I don't think I've ever heard a bad visit. #sjubb”

I wish they would just tweet a comment like "St. John's visit went REALLY well...no, like REALLY REALLY WELL! ;)) nudge nudge wink wink COUGH"

Hey 98, thanks for posting all these links and twitter updates. Between you and Paultz it is almost to easy to follow everything surrounding our hoops team. It's greatly appreciated guys

Artest:

"Those types of [championship] questions are answered in June," World Peace said. "I learned that from Phil Jackson. just going through that journey with Phil, I kind of know the journey, and in New York everything happens so fast and happens now. That's one of the reasons I went to St. John's, where I realized when you prepare you'll be OK."

Artest is going to make it a fun Knicks season. I just hoe he stays out of trouble.

@StJohnsBBall: No better time to be a Johnny! “@gionysports: @StJohnsBBall out of curiosity, how are our coaches feeling tonight? ;-) #sjubb”

Don't know if this is a wink and a nudge that he is committing to us or if it's genuinely asking how the coaches are feeling. Hopefully the first one.
