Isaiah Whitehead, SG (Seton Hall verbal)

And when I tweeted to correct him, he noted "Maybe he wasn't there, but knew we offered McLaughlin."

Isaiah Whitehead is no longer considering Louisville and wants to visit Syracuse, Arizona & UCLA, per @EvanDanielsFOX. #Stjbb, Miami, Minny

Can confirm @EvanDanielsFOX tweet that Isaiah Whitehead not considering Louisville anymore.

Isaiah Whitehead has a top six of St. John's, Minnesota, UCLA, Arizona, Syracuse and Miami. #stjubb

Would be so great to see a phenomenal local talent stay home and play for the Johnnies

It seems like they are more interested in playing at Syracuse. I don't get it.

3 guys who really impressed me this month - Romelo Trimble, Isaiah Whitehead, Stanley Johnson - amongst others - all 3 were great in spots

ISAIAH WHITEHEAD - 2014 - G - JUICE ALL-STARS 6-4 - LINCOLN - BROOKLYN, NY The Juice guard was rocking and rolling all game long in one of the truly special performances of the week. Whitehead was torching the nets again with three-point basket after three-point basket, including a double-crossover step back three in a defenders face that was awe-inducing. He knocked down jumpers squaring up from the short corner, attacked the rim and finished on glass or dunking it and finished with 31 points to will his team to a tough victory over the pesky Michigan Hurricanes team. - See more at:http://www.ny2lasports.com/article_one.aspx?articleid=1502#sthash.zH2kPlfs.dpuf

It's true. Hopefully after Boeheim retires they think twice and consider SJU more.

Boeheim has been getting his share of NYC kids to play in Syracuse for about 35 years. So, this isn't anything new.

Whether, Boeheim is there or not, the Johnnies will strike out with their share of NYC recruits. We'll also get our share.

Besides, the book on Whitehead's recruitment hasn't been written yet.

Whitehead will be one of the last PSAL stars. It would be nice to see him play at St. John's.

Its not just NYC kids and St John's though. Its becoming more rare for kids in any city to stay home, almost all of them go away

I just saw that Syracuse is 1 of 3 finalists for 2014 G Kaleb Joseph.

I would assume that Whitehead would no longer be interested in Cuse if they landed another guard

He is more of a point guard but it probably wouldn't hurt

@Isaiah_W15: All These Rumors About Top 6 Schools Are False My Recruitment Is Wide Open As Of Now Until I Cut My List Down At The End Of The Summer

@TheBBallDiary: Quick thought. Isaiah Whitehead & Kaleb Joseph has Syracuse on their list. If one picks Syracuse first don't expect the other to pick it too

I assume they are smart enough to know this, so if either wanted Syracuse as their top school, why doesn't one of them verbal?

I don't think Whitehead is really sold on Syracuse yet. They've been heavy front runners throughout his recruitment and yet he has yet to commit to them and Kaleb Joseph is most likely to commit to
Cuse before hand.

If Minnesota fails to get Jaquan Newton or gets a commitment from Rashad Vaughn, I would then think we'd be the favorites along with UCLA
