Indiana, Tues., Nov. 24, 2 PM, ESPN2 & 970AM

J Will trashing Indiana on the post game for not beating SJ by 30. STJ definitely looked better but Indy didn't look close to Vandy either. But you can see the kids have now experienced real big time college basketball and they'll grow into it. But I'd agree with Matt C they're a year away from being a year away.

He should just worry about street lights

Ron 17pnts 5boards 3assts
Balamou 14pnts 4assts 4boards 1 steal
Mussini 17 and 4 Stls

Today only 11 turnover after only 8 yesterday, they are improving there

So are we done in Maui or another game vs the loser of UNLV and Chaminade?

I would start Felix for Johnson. Bring him off the bench, maybe he will relax

Good idea

Out of the gate you could see the Indiana game plan included over playing Mussini. We looked a lot better with him off the ball and got some offensive execution, moreso in the second half. At times I think our execution looked a lot better than Indiana who was clearly the superior team in just about every way. All things considered: No Williams, No Ellison, No Yakwe, No, Lovett and frankly and sad to say, looking better with Johnson on the bench, this had to be a confidence builder for the team.

Only 11 turnovers after yesterday's 8.
Indiana shot 58%.
SJU only outrebounded by 3.
Felix 4 assists.
Mussini 4 steals.
Johnson hit a deep 3 early and I don't remember him after that.
When you consider nobody from SJU would even come close to starting for Indiana, that was one helluva effort.
Kudos all around, especially the coaching staff.

Good effort, they didn't embarrass themselves and played hard to the buzzer. No moral victories but you have to be impressed with how they played in the 2nd half.

Balamou by far the best athlete on the team. It's a shame his career was mismanaged. I've been making excuses for DJ, blaming the layoff. But Mvouika off a long layoff playing much better. When Amar comes in, I get the same feeling when the Mets brought in Tyler Clippard. In other words, a sinking one. We played better, but Indiana helped keep us in the game. They are playing way out of synch. Jones is frustrating to watch. Walton didn't seem too impressed with his game, knocking him at every turn. He is Anthony Glover minus the heart.

I didn't expect Mvouika to be as complete of a player. To me, that's the biggest surprise so far. Mussini has a beautiful stroke from 3...if he's here for 4 years...
Anyway, I still think we win 10 or more games. Durand Johnson has the tools, but he rarely looks comfortable out there. It's a process, we're at the beginning, I have no problem with that.

The two guys get healthy and Johnson shows anything I can see us winning 5 BE games.

Not that wins and losses matter this year, just that I can see them doing a little better than I had thought was my point.

Mvouvika tends to play by himself too much.
Team tired out near the end due to the short bench forcing extended minutes by some.
Thinking more than 10 wins this season.
Team does not quit!
:)

Anthony Glover a lot of heart yet but he was a very skilled, smart player.

Jones has skills too. He has an NBA body, and can jump. Based on that, he should rebound more than he does. Something is missing.

I think Johnson is pressing, where do you think Mussini will be for 4 years?
