Apparently i was April 1sted in terms of timing. But hang on.

I will wait for Coach to tweet the red thunder and lightening cloud.  It's like the bat signal for signings.

Getting Iggy would be one of the biggest signings possible because on top of being an actual big man he’s good friends with Champ

Mods.....maybe we can scratch this thread?

Also, can we change the "Julian is Fine" thread to "Julian is our Everything"  /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png

or change the title to “Iggy Watch” lol

When I thought we just needed to add pieces to a solid returning roster, I was really hopping this to happen.  Now however, I can’t understand why so many are hoping for this while so many (not necessarily the same people I realize) are not happy with picking up Aaron Wheeler.  Wheeler was at least in the rotation for a NCAA Big Ten team while Iggy wasn’t even in the rotation for a non-NCAA team and barely got off the bench when their best big man (and probably best player) was only able to play 3 games.

Can only speak for me, but at least in theory Iggy provides something we lacked last year and IMO proved to be our undoing: An interior presence on defense and the glass. Wheeler, while seemingly able to provide 20 or so minutes in the BE, doesn’t close that hole. But now we have a bunch of holes to fill so let’s get to patching.
