Absolutely f awesome!
we just watched the last episode of season 2 tonight. What a season ! This show is awesome. I like it better than any of the movies. Apparently there are 10 Star Wars related shows coming out next year on Disney plus. Grogu !!!!!!!!!
Do you need to have seen all the SW movies to understand the show?

Do you need to have seen all the SW movies to understand the show?
definitely not. Heck so many movies have been out I don’t know even what order they are. If someone is a Star Wars fanatic there are definitely things they will pick up on but if anything this will make you want to go back and see the other Star Wars but it’s definitely great as a stand alone. On a scale of 1-10 it’s a 10

If you have Hulu watch Baghdad Central. 1 season so far it’s excellent !!

Agree with MJM but I sit there with my mythology aware son and we pause and he'll point out something in the background and explain it's place in Star Wars history or how it might lead the story which adds a bit to it. FWIW this show takes place after the original trilogy, between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, and well after Clone Wars which takes place between Eps 2 & 3, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Clone Wars and Ep 2 have a lot to do with this year's set of episodes and characters.

Holiday break finally allowed me to watch season 2 of the Mandalorian. And the Queen's Gambit. And the Jack Ryan season 1 from probably two years ago. Last episode of the Mandalorian is the happiest I've been as a Star Wars fan in more than three decades. Queen's Gambit was amazing. Jack Ryan was really enjoyable and going to binge season 2 shortly.

And all of them combined barely washed away the hatred I felt for Wonder Woman 1984, which was a hammy, overacted slog.

Mando finale was awesome and Gsmbit great. Nat hayes chess ( I love chess ) but she loved it too. WW1984 she liked it I thought it was ok but basically Gadot is hottie. We watched some movie the other night thst eas up for awards I can't even remember it it sucked. SAG movie screeners coming out soon and since we haven't been to a movie this year I'm looking forward to something other then losing basketball games

Watched the Midnight Sky with Clooney this week (wife's request, duh).  Wasn't great but better than WW84 which I thought was a mess with a couple good action sequences. Also watched Soderbergh/Streep's let them all talk.  They did talk and talk and talk.  Was OK.

Re TV binging this week watched Two Months to Live, was pretty fun.  Finished Utopia, which was very good.  Now watching Woke.  Enjoying that a bit.

Cool we havent seen any of those yet. Just finished the Looming Tower now while Nat's been at her parents. We definitely need some binge shows for tomorrow till sunday since it's not like much is going on for new years  :) ( Thank God because I hate getting gouged at restaurants with their inflated New Years menus )

I watched the first few episodes. Kira thinks it is horrible and worse than that new ballerina show on Netflix. It is feeling a bit more gear at tweens rather than out generation.

My son and I just started watching (first 2 episodes) the Haunting of Bly Manor. If you liked the Haunting of Hill House, you'll like this one. Creepy.
