Homeland And All Things Maher
Cobra Kai on Netflix is addictively great
The movies were predictable and light hearted. This has been really well done.

I have decided to "rewatch" some older series. I am currently watching Foyle's War which combines the history of WW2 with a crime drama. Fascinating story as you get the story of what is going on in England during the war. Michael Kitchen does a great job as Foyle. Anthony Horowitz is the writer who has really brought things together. Besides being entertaining, one can get some insights into the background of WW2 on the home front.

For a laugh, I am rewatching 'Allo 'Allo which is quite hilarious and totally politically incorrect in the British way. Have already binged on Fawlty Towers with John Cleese.

Peru is in mourning after losing to their arch rivals Chile 2-0. Both goals were scored by former Bayern player "King" Arturo Vidal, one of them on a long distance shot that found the top corner. The Peruvian goalie never moved.

Too bad Maher doesn't have a pisco sour franchise in Lima, he'd be making a killing.;)

Funny thing is basically Congress staged a political coup this week on their president Vizcarra ( who was good and trying to get rid of corruption ) and you had huge protests in Peru every day except last night for the game :)

So, what'd think of that screamer of a goal?

So, what'd think of that screamer of a goal?
the first one upper right hand corner where the goalie didn’t even move ? That was pretty awesome shot.

Yeah it was. How'd Nathalie handle the outcome?

Peru hasn’t been playing well the last year. Not sure why they don’t have the chemistry that they had last couple years

No doubt I am about 2 years late and at least $10 short but I am finally getting around to Ozark (Netflix). It tries hard to be Breaking Bad but not even close. Anyway, somewhere in the second season Marty Byrde's attorney says she will bring "40 minutes of hell" against the FBI. She explains that was the defense run by Nolan Richardson and now Mike Anderson... The show was filmed before his SJU days but still cool he got a mention.

We just finished The Queens Gambit and it was phenomenal.

It makes me curious how much I could accomplish if I stopped drinking a bottle of wine a night in lockdown. After I relearn french and the piano I’m moving on to chess.

All kidding aside, it was a wonderful show.

Just started Mandalorian season 2 and watched all 5 so far. Excellent again

Recommending "We are The Champions" on Netflix. Six short documentaries about unusual sports narrated by Dwight Shrute (The Office). My favorites were Cheese Rolling, Yo-Yo and Bull Frog Jumping although the intensity the Russian coach brings to Dog Dancing is unreal!

Valley of Tears on HBO Max about the Yom Kippur war. Only 1 episode in but like it a lot

I really like the start of the 2nd season and won't complain about the inclusion of Rosario Dawson. Random fact, I once worked on a movie set during a break from finance and have a credit on IMDB on a movie starring Rosario. I never got to met her since I left before filming started.

We just finished The Undoing. I don't want to give anything away, but I was disappointed.

Just watched the latest mandolarian. That needed to be on the big screen,. Absolutely f awesome!

What a season ! This show is awesome. I like it better than any of the movies. Apparently there are 10 Star Wars related shows coming out next year on Disney plus. Grogu !!!!!!!!!
