What hasn't happened yet?! Did you not just read Marillac's post? Or practically every single one he throws a personal attack in somewhere? Here's a novel idea: let's condemn EVERYONE who insults or personally attacks i.e. bringing up homosexuality and only coming down on a select few. Better yet, end the attacks all together. Are you against that? I wonder how you would react if I posted the same thing Marillac just did to me if I did to you.
Funny, I only know one person on this board and he doesn't even know that I know him. I hardly post. I come on here to read about and discuss St. John's basketball. All the arguing is tiring. My point is simply that sometimes it's best to just ignore a post than to keep the beef going. I respect Joe's opinions on basketball but he is constantly in an argument with someone.

Joe, honestly, I don't respond to 80-90% of your posts because I don't think you are careful with your words, and the resulting incendiary nature of the content would render the response incendiary. You have a complex here against anyone a decade or more older than yourself, and that rears it's head at least a few times per week. You also have some thoughts about race, ethnicity, and sexuality that may better be kept to yourself, or at worse, shared with like minded friends in a bar. Actually, I don't think in this day and age, simply questioning if you are "homosexual" can be categorized as a slur, unless you felt it was horribly offensive to you to be thought of as such. He was rattling your cage, and you roared.
I'm not your enemy, and don't wish to engage in a 50 message dialogue on this topic. It's really just friendly advice that you made heed now, or later when you mature, or never if you don't.

If there's anything the last few posts have told me, it's that you all but confirmed the existence of a huge double standard on this board. When I say something it's an attack, but when good ol' boys say the same exact thing it gets rationalized as "questioning" as if he really meant it literally. The double standard is staring you in the face screaming but you won't look at it. Fair enough. Also, pointing out that I was scolded by mods is not "attacking" them. It really happened. I was using that to point out the double standard because I have never seen any of you crucified for the same things I get crucified for even if you say the same things verbatim. Dismissing the homosexuality dig is like you trying to rationalize a 5th grader saying "what are you, an idiot?" as a true, authentic question instead of telling the kid he is wrong for going there.
But anyway, I'm finished. I'll just accept the fate of a double standard because to me being a SJU fan is more important than dealing with some of you.

Question for the mods? I thought Joe was banned from the site? I am all for second chances but he has clearly shown that he can't handle being on this site. He is ruining this site, he mainly posts to stir the pot and I think he has gone over the line numerous times. I would hope someone would remove him again.

Evidence is contrary to your post. I probably need to do a better job of ignoring people who intentionally try to get me going it seems, but at the same time others need to stop their BS as well. Let me ask you a question...why don't you feel the same way with Fun then? His sole purpose here is as a troll. And he's very intentional about it. Rarely on topic, purposely tries to instigate, yet I don't see you begging for him to be kicked. I post boxscores, I post links, I post pictures, and even letters I get from the school so that everyone can see in case they didn't attend SJU, etc. I would love to see where I went "over the line". I do need to learn to ignore the bait though. Good luck in your crusade against me, but I think any rational person on here will see that while I may not let things go easily (admittedly), I do more than take away from the forum in the grand scheme of things. Now back to basketball.

You know something Joe - I didn't engage in this silly chat, and addressed only you. Whenever you don't like something you minus my kharma (childish), and in this case I was only trying to be objective. I don't pile on, and only take exception when you post something very offensive, but then go on record as saying you don't care who you offend. Why don't you show your face at an event during the season - I'm sure if you do, you'd meet one or two of your tormenters, and find they really aren't all that bad.
We are all going to look at people's posts from a different point of view and react differently.
To some Joe's posts might be broccoli. Some like broccoli and some dont like broccoli
Personally for me I think Resurrection has made an honest attempt to change. Not to say he doesnt fall off the deepend once and awhile but he has made an effort to be a different poster from the one that got banned before.

I couldn't resist getting back to the original topic. Joe is a passionate fan, whether you agree with him or not, & I think he is more positive than negative these days. That being said, I think Beast, MJ & Richard have made the best points & we should officially end this or get back to the actual topic. Beast nailed it when he suggested that some of us would be surprised (in a good way) if we ever meet each other at an event.
