the team has scoring droughts but likely it is something that will diminish as they play together more. we have lots of decent players, myriad combinations, and different players who were leaders somewhere else. As you point out, Pitino is also exploring combos.

I think Glover is going to be a fine all-around player. We have so many experienced guys at his position(s) that he hasnt played much. He is learning Pitino, pace of the college game, and tried to force impact by shooting too much in some games. In future years, he likely will be well integrated and a starter to appreciate.

Pitino cannot afford to lose Smith and Scott on this team. He may get away with it against Harvard but those two need to regain their composure and play without rushing things. The whole team needs to settle down and just play smarter basketball.
Ironically we have a Fraschilla on the Harvard bench. Remember him running around Carnesecca arena as a kid!

In totally unrelated news RJ was late on three consecutive close-outs on 3 point shooters and Glover is a horrendous defender at this point in his career. They really must be related.
