Harvard, Sat., Nov. 30, 5p, Peacock

I'm not watching, but statistically it looks like RJ is having a monster game. It would be nice if someone else steps up in the second half to preserve the win. It looks like Glover and Wilcher might do that.

Unsurprisingly there is nobody on Harvard that can compete with RJ's athleticism. However he is playing under control which is great to see. Marillac is correct that Glover is a baby RJ, but he has hit some shots which is great.

Can't say anyone else has played particularly well. Pitino really playing around with players and lineups today, a few different two-big combos which I assume is a response to getting bullied inside a few times earlier this season. A good move IMO. He will need to go to that during the season.

But overall I am starting to have some real concerns about this team. The pieces don't seem to fit together and the offense is very stagnant at times.

Prey is a sleeping giant man. A little slow on his reactions back to the basket, but are you kidding me with him and Zuby’s defense? Great feet. They look like a 3 and 4 out there.

Love Prey’s constant motion of offense too. His three look bad either.

Agreed re your concerns LMF, the fit can look great when we’re flying around and blocking shots and running the floor, when things slow down and become a halfcourt game i get some serious “sand in the gears” vibes

the team has scoring droughts but likely it is something that will diminish as they play together more. we have lots of decent players, myriad combinations, and different players who were leaders somewhere else. As you point out, Pitino is also esploring combos.
