According to his page on redstormsports. com, D'Angelo enters this season with 1601 career points. So, if he has a normal D'Angelo season, he should easily become just the third SJU player ever with 2000 or more career points.

I think it would be nice to have a thread in which we add his point total after every game, as a way of counting down to and getting excited for, his eventual milestone. Plus, it would generate added interest on here, when we get to the likely game where he will do it (hopefully, in front of the home folks).

Good luck, D'Angelo!

OK, so not a big night for D'Angelo tonight. Foul trouble and a big lead limited him to 20 minutes played, in which he scored 10 points. That gives him a career total now of 1611 career points.

389 points to go for 2,000 in his career.

Congrats to D'angelo on an outstanding performance tonight, especially since it looked like he was battling through some pain in the beginning of the second half (he was getting some treatment during warmups).

Anyway, his 31 total points tonight significantly raises his career point total, which now stands at 1,642. That means he now is 358 points shy of the magical 2,000 mark.

if Harrison's progression continues....he is the best 4-Year player at SJu since who??....Malik?...thats who i would say.

Who hold the distinction now? Postell?

if you go off of stats and not the eye test then i would say Felipe then Zendon.

I personally like Postell better...but those two are ahead of them.

Unfortunately whenever they are mentioned all i can think of is the most disappointing recruiting class in our history.

I'm surprised that nobody picked this up in my absence last night.

D'angelo with 19 points last night (including that HUGE 4-point play), now gives him 1675 points in his SJU career. 325 more points, and he reaches the magical 2,000 point mark for his career.

Another 15 points for D'Angelo last night. That ups his career total to 1690, and puts him 310 points away from 2,000 in his career.

Harrison is 9th on the all time SJU scoring list. Should move up to third by the end of the season barring an injury.

1) Chris Mullin 2440
2) Malik Sealy 2402
3) Felipe Lopez 1937
4) Bob Zawoluk 1826
5) Zendon Hamilton 1810
6) George Johnson 1763
7) David Russell 1753
8 Glen Williams 1727
9) D'Angelo Harrison 1690

16 points tonight. 1706 for his career. 294 to go. It's getting closer by the game (which, I guess would be the case, even if he only scored 1 point).

Tarik Turner said he is not sure if he can catch Zendon or Felipe two guys he played with. Considering he is only about 100 behind Z and 200 behind Felipe and he has at least 25 games or more depending on post season all he would have to average is about 10 pts per game to do so. Considering he has never averaged less than 16 per game in his 3 seasons wonder what math TT was using to come up with that statement.

+24 in the career scoring total for D'Angelo tonight. That makes his career total 1730. 270 points away from the magic number.
