Harkless Update

He ended the year decently last year too, so it makes me wonder if it has to do with his work ethic or behavior in practice

Neither of which have ever been mentioned as a problem in his entire basketball career regardless of level. . .

Aaron Gordon and Tobias Harris are Orlando's two best players. Both essentially play the same position as Moe.

I personally think it would work out best for all involved is Moe were to be traded. Hopefully, it would be to a team that does not have strength at the small forward spot (or one that can use an oversized combo forward-guard). Also, it would allow the Magic to begin the process of getting better at the other 4 positions on the court, at which they totally stink.

I'm just speculating on what the reason could be. Who knows ?

Everyone knows. He's behind two players that are better than him.
This is not difficult to see. You're throwing questions about his character out there without any basis.

Jacques Vaughn is an NBA Head Coach? Is the guy even 40? Since Orlando never makes the post season and I never watch the NBA until the playoffs I did not know that.

The Knicks should trade for Moe. He's still so young and he has yet to put it all together..he's got all the tools. I think his biggest problem is upstairs...he's far too timid. He needs to assert himself on both ends of the floor.

Buy low on this, Knicks Send them a decent shooter.

Really? Two players ahead of him so therefore he gets 0 mpg? That makes a ton of sense. I never said I believed he was not working hard, I was just purely speculating. Are you telling me it's impossible he could've had a few bad practices and sat the first two games because of it? So what if I have no "inside info" of knowledge of what's really going, very few on this damn site have inside knowledge that doesn't stop them from speculating on things.

He's playing tonight. 10 minutes so far, and the game is only in the second quarter. Has not put up much statistically, but was on the court when the Magic made a run.

Larkin for Harkless. Make it happen, Phil!

Harkless is a shining example of a young player getting drafted or traded into a shaky situation. Young coach. Even younger GM who doesn't have the requisite experience beyond a few years with the Spurs and another four carrying Sam Presti's water. Moe has limitations offensively, but there is no reason he shouldn't get 20 minutes a night for that team. None. If for no other reason that he guards people and runs the floor. Not to mention, he's played pretty well his first two seasons. Not off the charts, but has certainly shown flashes of developing into a solid rotation guy in the NBA. Zero doubt if he's on a team with solid management that preaches defense, he'd be a lot further along in his development. Can't teach some of the things he can do at that size. But you can stunt his growth, if you bench him for two games right out of the shoots and mess with his confidence. Hennigan trades away Arron Afflalo, lets Jameer Nelson go, spends the number two pick last season on an average shooter in Victor Oladipo, uses two high picks this year to grab Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton, who both can't shoot a lick, and they're wondering why shooting and scoring is an issue that now has Moe on the bench. But, let's patch it up with Channing Frye and Ben Gordon. That's the ticket.

Agreed.

Good to have you back.

Glad to see you are still around.
