The NCAA is just freaking unbelievable! Hassle some kid over a harmless summer camp that actually helps young people while the big-time cheats skate....
The NCAA is an authoritarian, corrupt bureaucracy. (That's not being 'political' is it?!?)
Unbelievable.
I thought it was a tournament he sponsors for inner-city kids against gun violence, but not sure.
Very curious though: Was this an issue when he played for Auburn?
Why would this be a 'problem' to decide whether his request for a hardship waiver is legitimate?
Did it impair his standing as a hoops player at Auburn?
If not, why should it 'matter' now?
Unless, it was just discovered or this is the first year he held it?
Dunno. Bizarre.
Let's hope.
Camp was held this summer in Ct after his transfer. Link;

Apparently, he has been active in the 'Mustapha Heron Skills Academy and Reading Program' for a few years, including when he played for Auburn. The Program gave out 'awards', i.e., sneakers and equipment, to kids and teams who would sign up to read 'x' amount of books.
Also, his AAU team wore orange patches' against gun violence on their uniforms.
His dad is in law enforcement, which may explain the connection.
In fact, he was named to the ALL SEC Community Service Team in 2017 for THIS program.
This summer his Skills Academy sponsored their first 'Stop the Violence Program'.
Mustapha seems like a super, all-star, all-person kid.
This may be 'it' and why the NCAA would 'object' to this seems totally arbitrary and bogus. (There's a better word, but I'll be polite!)
