Just wonderful news. I guess I should wait until official Tuesday announcement to celebrate, but I think I'll be in a very festive frame of mind at Billy Joel concert tonight.
It will be to so nice to have real quality depth for a change. Could almost play that old 40 minutes of death style defense those great Arkansas teams played years ago.

A friend who attended practice this week noted to me Heron’s physicality and Figgy’s overall well rounded game, consistent with Panther’s observation some time ago. He said if you walked in gym cold, high flying Figgy would be first guy to get your attention. We’ll see how season goes for him, but could be quite a steal for Matt.
The pressure is on. If we can’t win big with this roster, net of injuries of significance, I will be shocked. Exciting year! Btw, also heard one of Cragg’s initial actions has been to work with Chris to upgrade out of conference schedule going forward. This guy appears to have the experience, focus & energy to turn the AD around.

Great news. The dynamic this team we have is gonna make for a very exciting year. I'm not backing off my 10-1 ooc and 14-4 in conference record prediction. If anything 14-4 might need to be 15-3 or 16-2. We will have the best team in the big east this year. Speed. Quickness. Scoring. Points will be a plenty and defensively we will be good enough. Sure we might be at risk against that big who will post up against us but our advantages will far outweigh our disadvantage. We will rebound enough especially with our guards rebounding ability and running. Don't be surprised guys with an elite 8 final 4 type season guys and gals.

Do you have 2 of our OOC games being cancelled due to weather or something?

What some don't realize is those two players, with their experience, are equivalent to two 5 star players at 6'5 who are 1 and done talent at other programs. I'll take that any year. Unfortunately, a Mustapha and Figueroa don't happen every year.
