I'm nervous these last few wins might be left too fresh in people's minds to justify giving CMA extra time here

My 114 friends are saying wednesday 3pm. Ughh now I gotta double check I already told my team at work I'm not gonna be in wednesday afternoon.

Perfect. Leaving my work cell in the office can have a beer on train from Mineola hang with half my 114 crew at the game and after the game and can have Nathalie meet us out after then drive me home and not be tired to not make thursday game if we win. Even Monte and Eric wouldn't bet on that all happening :)

Nah, only an idiot or a school administration and AD looking not to pay a buy out would think that. The actual fans of this program are not fooled at all by the insignificance of these last few wins.

1) he can’t coach a half-court offense
2) substitutes like this is some CYO 3rd grade BS. Takes guys out when they’re hot. Leaves them in when they’re not. Plays a less than ideal lineup 80-85% of the game. Everybody’s gotta play right?
3) doesn’t know when to call a timeout.
4) stops doing things when they’re effective and vice versa continues doing the same thing when it doesn’t
5) his team can’t shoot. I could easily just put this on the players but when we shoot 60% from the foul line and less than 30% from 3 (usually open too), WORK ON IT.
6) let’s the other team’s hot guy just stay open. No double teaming or even demanding that someone get on that guy.
7) getting awfully defensive in his post game answers. Thin skinned.
8) no accountability, which might be the worst. Alfred E. Neuman in the flesh.

Please, please, please do something about this.

When multiple points being made sound like Norm, there's really no place to go but up. Unless they make another bad hire and we realize there is no true bottom to being a St. John's fan.
 
When Jones and Curbelo play under control, good things can happen
Jones has played much better coming off the bench since returning from his dad's passing
Curbelo played his best game as a Johnnie last night
But, with CMA at the helm, I'm still not convinced that we're going anywhere this season
I'll be rooting as hard as ever and hope to be proven wrong and have to eat some crow
I hear that it tastes just like chicken

That is pretty funny, and I agree. On Jones, I think he is salvageable. Curbelo, no. He not only will at some point revert back to his selfish showboat ways (can't help himself), but his disrespect of the staff more than once (regardless of what we think about their performance) and dysfunction are not tolerable. I also think Curbelo has been a poor influence on his HS teammate Pinzon, and we likely lose him too.
 
Crazy’s stats for St John’s fans.
We root for a team that has made the NCAA tournament 3 times in 20 years spanning 6 coaches.
Our point guard is unsuccessful on 84% of his 3 point attempts.
Our small forward his unsuccessful on 91% of his layup attempts.
Only one of those stats may be made up.
 
I'm always happy when our guys win, but the process of getting there is a nightmare. 16 turnovers with most self inflicted. Questionable shot selection. The usual open threes turning Georgetown, bottom of the league from 3, into a 3 point juggernaut. The good: Soriano 7 for 9. Jones attacking the rim and crashing the boards, and Curbelo being efficient.

Jones is a big plus when he concentrates on rebounding and going quick and strong to the hoop and minimizes the quick threes. He's a streaky but not good 3 point shooter; is shooting the same 30% from three he shot last year. The 2 threes he took last night are not far from a good number per game for him (ok maybe 3 or 4). He is a good rebounder and his 6.8 boards per game is slightly better than our leading rebounder Champ last year with Jones playing significantly less minutes.
Also kudos for that very heady defense on the 2 on 1 break at the end of the game last night.
I really hope he comes back for another year.
 
I'll be honest, I'm glad we won this game, but I didn't watch a single second of it. I just don't care right now. Wish that wasn't the case.
 
Watched Staged season 3 and caught the last 5. Truthfully I was divided whether or not I wanted a W. I guess we will lose the next 2 and unless we go to the finals there is more than enough to get rid of this coach.
It's exhausting being a fan of the team. Cragg needs to get this program watchable or they will lose the Garden
