I don't want to be that harsh, but I was thinking on the short drive to pick up wife at train that we don't have any winners at all.

And it's not like you need 14 of them, but we have none. I guess Wilcher and Dunlap are from winning programs but we haven't really allowed Wilcher to show it.

I noticed that too. I noticed that Ed Cooley made half time adjustments and we stuck with the ‘hey let’s try to press’ then huck up threes strategy Pitino loves so much. Fortunately, Jenkins got a couple fouls which forced Pitino to put in this guy number 7. Never heard of him before. Anyway he decided that he decided that instead of huck up threes indiscriminately he could pass it to people really close to the basket. That really helped. Then we they defended the passing lane the decided that there was enough room for him to shoot and he scored 7 points.

We were up by 12 when this number 7 played his last minute on the court. Anyway, long story short we won by 5. Thus beating the 10th best team in the Big East almost entirely due to a HOFer’s genius.
 
If it makes anyone feel better or worse, the last time Georgetown scored 85 or more points was January 19th in a loss to Xavier (93-92). They only scored 70 once since January 29th.

It was noted that St. John’s has a history of firing coaches for cause. Pitino is one of the very few coaches in NCAA history that brought suit against a university for his termination and received no award. He’s gotta protect that $20M even if it means apologizing.

That's a little harsh! They scored 90 points. Poise has nothing to do with not guarding the perimeter for open 3s. Those open 3s made the score look respectable. Missing 4 of 5 free throws didn't help but we are a poor ft team.
The problem is we continue to have to play weak links in the rotation like Alleyne and Traore whose defense has been atrocious. They just don't have lateral quickness😉

Did apologize to the fans for saying what he did or did he apologize for recruiting them in the first place?

He such an…odd…player. You’re probably right. He played mistake-free down the stretch which made a huge difference.

He makes horrific decisions. He doesn’t pass. Doesn’t play defense. His handle isn’t great. Not a good FT shooter. It’s all undeniable.

But….if Pitino can rein him in, which I’m hoping, he’s one of our best players for sure, moving forward.
 
I don’t think my remarks are harsh at this point. We establish big leads literally every game and choke it away. No cojones on a single one of our super seniors, who were brought here so that their experience could be relied upon. All of them are reaching new lows. It’s shocking.
 
Mirror image of the SH game exact Georgetown completely suck so it resulted in a W. If I didn’t know any better there might have been 20 fouls in the 2nd half on the Johnnies.

you do k ow we just won a game right. Jenkins Luis ledljm etc played well. Soriano different story.

Taylor????
His name has the same affect on me that Jenkins has on Marillac2.
Pull up his stats after the Big East season started. A situational sub at best on defense. Don't expect any athletic attacking drives to the basket like RJ Luis.
