@Georgetown, Sat. Jan. 20, Noon, FS1/570AM

think anyone on this board could have collect 2 million and got us to 0-8 I said about a month ago we have a good chance of not winning a Big East game. Frankly, at this point, still holding to that prediction I would like to be wrong and at least have them win 2 games

I could watch the game I had stuff to do, but listened on the radio alittle when I had the chance.

I read SJU blew a 5pnt lead with :15 to go, that's a choke job.

Now with that said, you gotta feel terrible for the starting 5, they played their hearts out.
To lose in 2OTs gotta be deflating to them. It will be interesting to see their body language, will they play hard, or say screw it, and not play hard. If they still do play hard Tuesday after this crushing loss, then I'll have mad respect for the starting 5.

Where was the game lost? G-Towns bence 27, SJUs 5. 5 lousy freaking pnts, if they scoed just a little more, we win.

Mullin did nothing wrong ????????????,
Are you dreaming or watching the game.
I could list at least 10 things he did wrong and does wrong every game....open your eyes.

Well, after today's game, I've did something I've never done before. I put my ticket for Tuesday's game up for sale. First time I've ever done it for a game that I am able to attend (I did it for Molloy earlier this year, because I couldn't make that one).

Hardest thing I've ever done, but I think the atmosphere at the games is going to get too ugly for my liking.

Now, if it does not sell for a decent profit, I'll still go and cheer on the guys, and I'll start over clean next season regardless, but it's just too hard right now, especially when I don't see answers in the future.

I'll go to the Butler game for the Mark Jackson bobblehead giveaway, but the rest I'm deciding on a game by game basis. Through it all, I fell guilty about this, but it's just very hard to sit through this again.

This very well might be true but just remember if any of us were coaching this team we could not be evaluated on the job we are doing because it is only year 3, we inherited a depleted roster, we have no depth,
Lovett got hurt, blah blah blah blah. Go to bank deposit 2 million dollars.

How do you not foul up 3 with 13 seconds left? You just cannot let anyone take a three at that point in the game.

Mullin, in his postgame quotes, seemed to indicate that he did want a foul there, FWIW.

On whether or not to foul Marcus Derrickson on the tying three in overtime:
“Ideally, yes. Not coming out of a timeout, it’s kind of hard to get these guys’ attention on the way up, but ideally yeah. I love to foul in that situation. Once that guy gets behind that three, on the way up the court ideally, but again sometimes it’s hard to relay that message not coming out of a timeout. Philosophically, yeah I like to foul in that situation. No question. Do you do it earlier? Yes. What happens after that, who knows, but philosophically that’s what I like to do. We couldn’t get the message over there coming off the free throw. [Marcus Derrickson] just made a highly-contested shot.”

Heart breaking loss

I am still a supporter of this coaching staff. However, I would like to see an experienced assistant coach added in the offseason.

We have talent, but just not enough bodies. Allowing Ellison, Sima, Mussimi and Williams to ALL walk out the door because of a perceived lack of playing time should never have happened. If just one of these four had stayed we would probably be in a better position.

We really have to foul before Dickerson gets that shot off. That was almost as maddening as Yakwe's foul.

Patrick Ewing is a good coach.

Today sucked, but the program is in better shape than it has been pre-Mullin.

Glass half full. We are one game closer to the season ending and hopefully all key players and recruits in next year and we will finally know what we have

Really wish the kids could have gotten this win. Not just for our own sanity but for themselves. At the end of the day they are still kids

What does that even mean? We really gave this one away. Not that 1 win was going to change our season but still. We will hopefully get a win eventually. These guys need to come back next season on a mission because this season has been as bad as it could possibly be. I don't usually complain about this but that experienced assistant coach would of really came in handy today. In reality Richmond probably does need to be replaced by a more seasoned coach. Preferably some one with HC experience at the D1 level. That's probably going to be tough because he's Mullins buddy but it would be in his and the programs best interest. One thing I can say is even when we lose the games are interesting to watch because we are so damn unpredictable.

Everything about this program (if you could call it that), is just so horrible. So many things need fixing.

Wow. Nearly 40 years as a fan One of the worst losses

Make a free throw ! Losing a 5 pt lead Unreal
So many close losses.
I give these young guys so much credit playing hard.

Lost a lot of players. Williams is off the team
Missini hurt. Great free throw shooter. He's playing pro in Italy

Imagine the record if Marcus Lovett was playing

As is St. Jean unfortunately. :)

Name them!

He forgot to tell Ponds to make his free throws.

He forgot to tell Yakwe to make his free throws.

He neglected to mention that it's bad to foul the three point shooter.

Another heart breaker
We ran out of gas again
We almost ran out of players
Who would ever have thought that we would go a whole month without a win when the season started?

Four freaking coaches on the sideline with their heads up their ass is the reason they can't get the player's attention! There is zero bench coaching on this team! Mullin and company gift-wrapped this win to Georgetown twice in the same game.

Let the fire Mullin rumblings begin.

Only way only I'll agree with fire Mullin after this year, is if they go 0-18. That's worse then year 1, 1-17.
You absolutely cannot go 0-18. or that would be:
1-17
7-11 (improvement
0-18 (to going worse then year one???)
Even the biggest Mullin supporter would have a tough time making excuses for 0-18, and yes, even with no depth.
