Unfortunately, it looks like the Xavier game was the tipping point for these guys. After doing everything possible to get a win, and still not getting one, it looks like the guys don't know what to do with themselves to get a win. We may beat Depaul one game, but I think we would have been better off playing them earlier, when the probability of stealing a win was greater.

Still, my great fear about this season, was that a year like this would not sit too well with recruits. That clearly has not happened, so I can't get too upset anymore.

I was concerned too that this year might cause recruits to look elsewhere. But as you say, that does not seem to be the case.

But you bring up a question in my mind. I wonder how other coaches are recruiting against us? What are they saying about Mullin, his coaches and the program in general? Hmmm.........

Coaches should be selling their own resume, not harping on some other coach's. Mullin said from day one that he knows what it takes, as does Mitch Richmond, to not just make the NBA, but to have a long career. Let Mike K. and Calipari and Hugigns and self sell their lifetime wins and NCAA tournament appearances and successes. Mullin can't sell what they have, and they can't sell what he experienced firsthand.
