@Georgetown, Mon. Feb. 8, 7pm, FS1 & 970 AM

I'm not even sure how I feel right now. Kind of numb. I don't think I have the energy to watch the Nova game on Saturday.

Mullin argues/questions every single call.
Getting old.

I think he needs to argue a bit more, but maybe that's just me. Team needs a bit of fire.

Speaking about arguing look at Movuika, he complains on every call against him. Can't believe he hasn't had a technical called.

Maybe he speaks French to the refs and they become mesmerized and begin thinking romantic thoughts.

I'm turning the channel. Gotta catch up on shameless and billions from last night

I really like Billions
Never saw Shameless - what station? what's it about?
shameless is showtime also. About a really f'd up family. Has William H Macy in it. It's freaking awesome and so funny

Love Billions. Awesome too

Macy should have won an Emmy every year. An unbelievable dysfunctional performance.

Thanks for the tip - I'll give it a shot
Showtime has lots of great shows
I also really like Ray Donovan
Talk about f'd up people.... smh... there isn't a "normal" character in the cast
Jon Voight has a great role in that show

as whacked out as they are wait till you see a few episodes of shameless. Easily the most dysfunctional family on tv EVER :)

Ellison playing better.

Yakwe is the quickest jumper I think ive ever seen. Especially at that size. That two handed dunk was crazy.

Jones had his best stretch of BE play so far. Ripping down boards and going 5-6 from the field. I think we should give Beasts idea a try and go Sima-Jones-Yakwe to start. Along with Mussini and Ellison.

Sima with the airball FT...how fitting.

That bandage appears to be bothering him, holding onto the ball and shooting. Reminds me of JPP and his troubles.

On Saturday night I thought he was really struggling. I thought it was so obvious that he didn't want to use his left bandaged hand at all, whether to catch, dribble or block the ball. My concern is that he may not be ready to return, as much as he does need pt. I wouldn't rush him back. It's not like his return is going to turn our season around.

I'd be pissed at Thompson III if I were Mullin. With a lead in excess of 20 points, Thompson didn't pull Smith-Rivera from the game until there was only 2 minutes left. Can't wait for the payback.

Can appreciate all the frustration this year & hope for next, but I plan to keep things in perspective.

We obviously will have a better group of kids next year, but don't think we will roll over anyone. There will still be growing pains & struggles that all young teams experience. The teams at the top of BE usually have upper class guys playing prime roles.

As WASJU noted yesterday, don't think anyone in BE will fear us.

Lastly, as much as I welcome the new coaching regime & appreciate the recruiting efforts & results, it is not heresy to suggest the jury is out on the coaching proficiency front. If this is a pass year, next season will not be. Even with the young team noted, I would hope the team is competitive, well prepared & steals some wins (especially at home) in CM's second season.

Fifteen or sixteen wins & performing in that fashion seems like a fair expectation leading to further improvement & contending for the Dance perhaps in year three.

If team surpasses my forecast, I will be very happy. If not, at least I won't be disappointed & frustrated.

I'm really happy Jones is putting in some solid work of late. He needs a mean streak, or something to keep himself lit up all the time. On this crappy, crappy team he could have been at least a 10 and 7 guy. I hope he finishes strong.

I like that front line. Time to ditch Durand Johnson as a streaky, mostly cold player. Make the front line defense oriented. Go with Ellison and Mussini, with Ellison at point and Mussini working hard to get open looks with a lot of screens. They do have set plays to spring him. Everyone else has had a shot and not proved they belong so go with the guys who have the best upside and future. Instruct Sima, Yakwe, and Jones that their job is to defend furiously and be monsters on the boards - everything else is gravy.

Balamou should be used as an energizer bunny - play harrassing defense and make things happen. funny - we don't see him out ahead on the break ever - could he be a poor man's Pointer if used properly?

RM - not enough of anything to warrant starter status, but I wouldn't object to serious minutes.

Amar - Nicest kid, plays hard, doesn't product enough. First Big off the bench.

DJ - garbage time player. He has no problem hoisting shots. There should be plenty of garbage time for him.

I must admit this has been even worse than I had feared. Well I guess we will always have the Cuse win. To put how bad it has been in perspective, if you were going to pick a team MVP to this point, who could it possibly be?

Any loyal fan or Yakwe considering what has been asked of a 6'7" kid filling in for Sima & constantly contending with guys bigger & stronger, yet hanging in there. Very tough question WASJU.
