Georgetown- Game 2

If there is any chance at all a season ticket holder isn't going to the game....please let me know- i will happily exchange money or a firm handshake for the chance to see our seniors close out their career stomping Gtown

The game isn't sold out right? I'm planning to walk up with some people and buy tickets on game day

That's taking a chance, if it's sold out then you're buying from scalpers or going home.

I'll go to msg on Thursday to pick up tickets, unless someone on here will be selling/giving away some tickets

But when was the last time we sold out a game at the Garden, aside from Duke and maybe Syracuse? I've never had a problem walking up, even in 10-11 season

Alot of people in NYC really like the seniors, and it's senior day. Everyone wants to watch these young men go out with a blast. Just saying, don't wait until Saturday.

I cannot wait for Saturday, PAYBACK IS A REAL BITCH.

Walk up to a scalper on 7th Ave. He will ask for $60. Tell him you know me and he will agree to $35.[/quote]

NYPD?

I am sure Gtown will also have a huge contingent. They usually do

Yeah, well we'll see who has the larger crowd. If they do then It will be real sad.

Not in the Duke, Uconn or Cuse league where I am happy with 50/50 split, but they are def in next tier where it is not a clear cut home court advantage.

When we beat G'Town do you think we will crack the top 25?

Where were those people last night?? This game won't selll out, let's get real

Gtown is the biggest game of the rest of the season. We owe them a complete bitch slapping and it's our last regular season home game and we flat out need to take care of business.

If team and fans can't get up for this game then wtf

Let there be mayhem on saturday and send those bitches home on the bolt bus

I agree! I even think Fun will agree that the keys to this game will be our big men, especially Joe Delarosa and Amar Alibegovic in giving as many hard fouls as possible and not giving up 20 + rebounds like we did with Xavier. I would not be surprised to see the Sir Dom Fro return for this game.
Time to show that the Duke and Villanova losses at MSG were the flukes of our season. With this win we will return to the top 25, Lavin will get his extension as Hit and the Maven predict and Diallo shocks the pundits and picks St. John's over Iowa state and Kentucky. Getting a Greek, a Turk and an Italian will just be bonuses since Obekpa and Jordan will soon announce their return for next year. I see a dynasty arising in the Big East!!! B)

I think many fans are on winter break along with the students. Some may even be in sunny Los Angeles trying to get tickets to the sold out UCLA games by driving down to south central where there is a thriving market for UCLA and USC games.

At least one of these next two are must wins. Nova looks unbeatable.

So important we got the W last night.

Lose at Marquette and it's back on the bubble.

I don't disagree, we'd be on the bubble if we finish with just one more win and could go either way. 2 would be a lock.

Georgetown goes on spring break the following week (mar 9-13). I'm hoping that keeps metro NYC area Gtown students from coming home the week before since midterms often precede spring break week.

For that matter, when we play Nova on the 7th, that will also be the first day of their spring break and many students will be home on the 7th.

I want the Georgetown and marq games, so I can relax for the Villanova game, but also winning @ nova would be sick.

Question, if we win these next 2, should we rest Chris and DLO at Nova and get ready for the BE Tourny? I vwant to win that at our house
