I've been rooting for this team for 48 years now. I'm not going to stop now. Full disclosure, I'm also a Mets and Islanders fan. ;-)

I actually think they were playing good defense for the majority of the half but when you’re this anemic on offense eventually they’re going to break through.
So frustrating. We can compete for the first 20 seconds of a possession. The difference between the two teams is when the shot leaves the shooter's hand. Their guys hit shots; our guys can't do that right now.

Champagnie needs a coach or consultant to advisemhim on the technical aspects ofmhis shot.
Even his “shooting” picture in the NY Post seems “off” to me…seriously,

Coach recruits non shooters You can not win without shooters zTgey should have realized this before the ext

The difference is that Nova runs a cohesive offense and has multiple guys that can shoot from the outside. We do not have a cohesive half court offense and don't have anybody who can regularly shoot from the outside.

I was pleased by Soriano and Coburn's play in the first half (although Coburn missed a few FT's). But, this team will never be successful against good teams on a regular basis until Champ turns it around. Every team needs a go to guy and, until a few games ago, he has been it for almost two seasons. His offense was awful again today in the first half. Maybe a session with a sports psychologist would help.

Hoping we turn it around after halftime. C'mon Johnnies, get it done. Nova is beatable!!!

Notice that Nova is not inbounding the ball right away after a st johns bucket.  This must be a jay wright trick on how to keep his players slowed down when we are trying to speed them up.  Pretty crafty by wright.
