Look at the bright side. We may have Champ for another year.

I said this before — if Champagnie plays another year in college it won’t be for SJU.  Take that to the bank
Who cares.  Hes shown who he is and its not very impressive.

It's over.

They need shooters badly. Against a team like Nova you have to be able to score.  You are not beating then 59-57.

Our FT's are bad, but that's not even close to primary reasons we're not even close today

We have no offense.

Anderson doesn't know how to create it.

Just an awful, disappointing game we have played today. A mediocre, up and down team that can't get out of their own way. That's why I refused to jump on the bandwagon after the SH win. They need to get it going these next 2 weeks.

Nova always gets a friendly whistle at home but we're not losing this one because of the refs. We're losing it because we're shooting 35% from the field, 13% from three and a disgraceful 42% from the misnamed (for us) charity stripe.

I am so tired of hearing about the refs. They get blamed every game for our deficiencies. We have been called for 17 fouls Nova 16. They are 13-17 from the line we are 6-14. We are also out rebounding them. You can't ask for more. Our execution and shooting are terrible and their's is excellent. That is better players and better coaching. It is what it is.

The only thing I put on the coaching is the talent
level CMAhas brought in. We were all relying on Posh and Champ to have good years; from an offensive standpoint they have both under performed

Our shooting is just painful. Awful offense. I don’t understand how they can be a team in a major conference that shoots ft’s this poorly.

Another Higgins trained crew in the stripes.

Cant believe some of you are harping about the refs when we’re getting thoroughly outclassed.

I get that but the refs have been against us from the start and it's very frustrating. If the calls had been more even we just might be a lot closer.

When the year started I thought Soriano doesn’t look as strong inside with rebounding as I hoped. And, with t two somewhat inexperienced backup centers I am glad we have a lot of guard depth.  Now the centers have all been adequate and Wheeler has been another pleasant big-sized forward. The surprise is that the guard play from Wusu and Posh has not been at last year’s level and Smith, Coburn, and Mathis on offense and defense have been less than I expected. Maybe Pinzon would have made a difference in how we played as a team but the offense looks so random.
