It's not baffling...he's getting his lunch eaten by Tre Jones. He doesn't fair well against NBA athletes. He needs to come out second half and out-savvy him.

Jones has left himself ready for a knockdown screen with his tunnel vision on Ponds. Do your thing Keita.
What other NBA athletes has Ponds not fared well against? Silly comment
Yea he dropped 33 on a team with Marvin Bagley, Wendell Carter and Gary Trent Jr. marillac just being a goofball again
Bagley was on the bench with foul trouble most of the game!
Okay so how about when he played Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Donte DiVincenzo and Omari Spellman? Lol come on

Re Ponds, v many teams can post up, score or dish to open guys. Duke’s quick interior size with help D eliminates that.

His % hitting the 3 ball this half has hot been good if Pond just gave us 10 pt this half we would be right there, don’t mean to get on him but a player averaging around 25 and giving us nothing but bad ball handling and bad passing was extremely disappointing,Frankly,do not know if he could right his ship with NBA scouts sad

We're done today. On top of everything else our only two bigs have 4 and 3 fouls already. May need to give Roberts a few minutes today..

Dear Lord in Heaven, forgive me. But I f*cking hate Duke with fire of 1,000 suns. And when does Satan ask coach K. to pay up?

I love Figgy but, that’s twice he played lazy with the ball . 4 points . We have lost poise . Don’t quit but, move on to Marquette . Simon shooting makes me cringe ... he’s just awful . Big regression from last season ., doubt he can correct thT flaw in his game at this point . He had Sean Miller , Mullin and Richmond trying to Coach him and they were all great shooters . Sadly , he just doesn’t have that in his game.
Zion > quick hands, feet & obviously strength
It will be interesting to watch him next year. In the NBA he is a 4. His shot needs to become more consistent. He will need to be drafted by a team where he is the 3rd or 4th option on offense.

I dont remember a pro guard dribbling between his legs to bring up the ball over and over again when there was no need.
