To be 10 points down with Ponds a no show and Clark on the bench for a stretch is miraculous!

Hate to say but pretty sure we just lost the game in that last minute. Don’t see us coming back to be honest

It's not baffling...he's getting his lunch eaten by Tre Jones. He doesn't fair well against NBA athletes. He needs to come out second half and out-savvy him.

Jones has left himself ready for a knockdown screen with his tunnel vision on Ponds. Do your thing Keita.
He’s gettin his lunch eaten, and mentally he is out to lunch. He needs to get his head in the game and then, hopefully, his body will follow suit

Kind of baffling that he can barely bring the ball up past half court and seemingly forgot how to dribble.

What other NBA athletes has Ponds not fared well against? Silly comment
Yea he dropped 33 on a team with Marvin Bagley, Wendell Carter and Gary Trent Jr. marillac just being a goofball again

Anyone can have a bad game shooting or have a misthrown ball or two...
But Ponds lost his poise not because of great defense, although it was very good.
He lost it because he wanted to show up the defense with his dribble technique and he had the ball stolen repeatedly.
He then missed a few shots that were forced..and then he got frustrated and made things worse with more turnovers and missed layups off drives.
But the imploding started with the staged casualness that was supposed to turn into marvelous highlight video, but became humiliating zeros instead.
I think he is one of our finest ever players. Still, it isn’t his height but his periodic playground playacting that makes him a risk in round one.

26% from three, Williamson punishing us after Clark had to sit and Ponds came up completely empty (0 points and 5 turnovers). Not a formula for success. Lucky to be down only 10.
One thing not to score but his 5 TOs killed us.
At least a couple of them resulted in fast break baskets. So it wasn’t just the loss of possession
I think 4 points to Zion on that at least

We would have to play mistake free basketball to beat this team. The lazy passes are maddening.

Dick Vitale is beyond annoying.

I agree. He needed to show that he could play against NBA talent and has been royally exposed. Needs to. Ring the ball up quickly to avoid the trap. Caught in a trap 3 times and you would think coach tells him move your ass. Don't mind losing to Duke but play intelligent ball.

In addition to the 2 live ball TOs from ponds, the missed box out on the free throw late, the 3rd Foul on Clark, and the BS flagrant were killers. Throw the first punch in the second half and maybe you have a shot.

He’s a whole lot less annoying when we’re playing well lol

Ponds was taken to school defensively those antics of dribbling slow btw his legs, his passing and bully thru 3 defenders trying to drive when he should have been under control and dishing killed us. Can not see us coming back from this half against a team like a Duke missed bunny’s 3sand lay ups Hope we cab play better and this doe not become a blow out. Also ,Mullins has to do a better job

Ponds playing his way right out of the first round of the draft
lol first round?
He is playing his way out of the draft period! He is being defended by the type of player he would encounter in the NBA.

Figgy was excellent, if he gets better at hitting off the dribble 3s and 3s in transition he will be a very tough guard for anyone in the country

Bagley was on the bench with foul trouble most of the game!
