Game of Thrones

Cercie has to control people and if she needs to do it with sex she may as well enjoy it. I think Broan will kill a Lannister but it will end up being Cercie. How can you not love an episode that Jon rides a dragon. Aunt, cousin or whatever the Targarians have a long history of incestual marriage. . If the last 2 seasons seem a bit off it is because the last 2 books have not been written and the HBO writers have had a bit of leeway to finish the story. I think they are trying to hurry it to its ends with rough guidance from GRRM who wont stop living it up with groupies and finish the damn books. They will be different in their ending I am sure.

Cersei drinking wine while pregnant...

We all know she’s gonna die giving birth to a dwarf. She set it up for herself when she handed the bow to Bronn, saying “I’m a fan of irony”. She’s gonna get the irony, but it’s ginna be her dying just like her mother did

Ok so I was thinking about GOT today and I have a very specific prediction for next weeks episode. I don’t check leaks or anything like that so this is purely based on what we’ve seen from the previews and that’s it. I know things like this have been predicted before but the specifics I’ve never seen:

At some point this episode Jamie is going to essentially be on trial. For pushing bran and then also killing the mad king (we saw this in the preview).

While Jamie is being questioned about his role in brans fall and the death of the mad king, he is going to tell his story as to why he had to kill the mad king (the same story he told Brienne). People won’t believe him but bran will tell everyone that he can confirm. Bran will go into his vision and watch Jamie with mad king - meanwhile in Winterfell at the exact same time the white walkers are going to show up and people in Winterfell will start yelling burn them burn them all and the mad king is going to hear that through bran’s vision and start screaming it in that world (similar to hodor hold the door situation) so bran is going to figure out that mad king went mad (at least with the burn them all thing) bc of him and then also confirm Jamie killed the mad king to protect everyone.

Not groundbreaking but I think this is how it all goes down next week.

Thanks! Unfortunately no - think it’s the problem-solving aspect of the lawyer background that may have led me to that prediction. We will see!

Amazing episode. Was on the edge of my seat the entire time without any action.

Knew my prediction was wrong when they started the show off with Jamie’s trial.

My brother and I were talking...what are the odds literally everyone dies next episode and the living lose? Or everyone except those in the crypt (which would be Tyrion and maybe Sansa of main characters?).

I feel like most likely outcome is of course the living win and then march south to battle Cersei but this show is so unpredictable so I don’t know that that is definite. I could totally see the dead win but via dragons a bunch of main characters retreat.

Also think Arya is killing someone major - either night king or viserion most likely via that weapon. They showed her practicing her throwing and shooting skills and marksmanship too many times not to be a reminder before she picks someone off next week.

Can’t wait.

Can’t wait.[/quote] Too many people saying they are going to die for them to all die. That being said it's going to be a bloodbath. The three eyed Raven giving a clue when Jamie was talking to him by the tree and he kind of hinted Jamie potentially dying ? I think Jamie survives but Bran dies as he is the trap for the Night King. I still think Jamie kills Cersei. Imagine Theon killing the Knight King. Oh man that would be something unpredicted

I need to check again to see who my 3 people are in my office GOT death pool. Next week is going to be a lot of points for people surviving.

Dialogue tonight was fantastic as usual. Loved Brienne of Tarth getting Knighted. Next week will be her last episode I think dying fighting next to Jamie

DONt READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO READ ANY PREDICTIONS

some of the more interesting off the beaten path predictions I’ve heard for this upcoming week:

1. Night king doesn’t go to winterfell and actually goes south to turn everyone in kings landing first while the rest of his army beats up on the living in winterfell, weakening them.

2. Night king doesn’t want bran, he wants dany to be his night queen and she may do it if her dragons all die to be with her children.

3. Everyone in winterfell dies and the rest of the series is cersei and co against the dead.

4. The NK raises the dead in the crypt and everyone down there dies.

I don’t think 3 is true - could see a big victory for the dead but not a complete one - at a minimum some main characters would get away using dragons.

I don’t think 1 is true because then there would probably have to be three battles with the dead and doesn’t seem to be enough time.

2 is interesting. I think unlikely but dany wearing white is unusual and looks almost more like a night queen type of outfit...

4 seems likely that there are going to be problems in the crypt given how many times they said the crypt was safe, but theres no way they all die. Tyrion and Sansa live I’m sure.

5 days.

I don't see how they can raise the people in the crypt. Then again we only saw them raise the dead at Hardhome but they JUST died. I also don't bank on the trailers leading up where Arya is running through the crypts it seems. They have often used footage and images in teasers and trailers that never are seen in season. A few years ago they did all the character's faces dead and that was never the case.

I heard about the Night King maybe going to King's Landing but I think they are making the strong point he wants Bran. If they never said that I would put more credence to it. Then again who knows. They have kept the episode title's quiet until after its on air and I'm expecting a big sweeping curveball in the next 2 eps.

I would really like to take that night queen comment and run with it, but we are supposed to be PG rated.

Night Queen would be a tremendous twist. And something I could see Dany wanting to do if her dragons are dead and she realizes the undead army have a better chance of beating the living.

I just cant see those scenarios but I never thought Ned Stark would die season 1 and I was stunned by the Red Wedding. Bloodbath this week with only 1 dragon surviving. Night king goes down. Episode 4 is the aftermath. Episode 5 is heading South. Episode 6 is the final battle and closure and Cersei dies by Jamie.

I have Cersei,Grey worm and Sam in my office GOT death pool or should I say living pool. 1 point per person for surviving each episode. I think Grey Worm does unfortunately next week but I think I'm good till the final episode with Cersei and I'm hoping Sam kind of pulls a Huey and escapes everyones radar like Huey did mine

Not plot related but I'm going to be in Greece and Italy for the last 3 eps. Looking for advice. Will my US HBO Go account work overseas? Are there other options for viewing online or in hotel rooms? Can someone help a traveler out?
