Game of Thrones
All the people who named their kid Daenerys must feel great now.
All the people who named their kid Daenerys needed their head checked regardless.

I just want it to end. Because for a series that was loved by so many the 'fans' are making it unenjoyable at this point. If i hear the word character arch one more time from wanna be directors and producers. So a character turned in 1 episode. Is that such a far fetched concept? She lost 1 of her dragons, her oldest adviser and best female friend. Plus her lover/nephew has a better claim to the throne and her other advisers were conspiring against her.

I went into last night wondering if it would live up to 3 in terms of the battle. Would it take me for a ride. It did. When the bells tolled I wondered how it was going to go down with Cersei. i honestly didn't expect her to burn down the city. My only gripe now after 1 watch and limited articles or other feedback is I was surprised Cersei's death wasn't more direct. I thought Dany would have wanted to actually see her die. Burn her etc.

No problem with the character arch’s but just some of the decisions.

Like you mentioned, that’s how Cersei dies??

Tyrion was that easily allowed to free Jamie?

Euron’s aim fell off a cliff? Imagine what 3 dragons could have done.

Was that scene from episode 4 with Braun and the brothers just it for him? Thought that would circle back somehow.

And all the people that were cheering for her at the Rockets game last week

It's going to be interesting to hear the comments and interviews when its all done.

Martin is adamant that what they are doing is what his vision was for the ending. Especially with the main characters. Maybe the lesser ones have some differentiation he said. If he ever writes the books it will validated what David and David are doing. But does anyone realistically think he will finish the books.

Moose you hit the nail on the head. This is someone from a family of well documented serve mental illness and a history of awful violence. Her entire reason for being has been up ended at the same time she loses the man she loves...then she loses her best friends and second of three “children”. Sure they could have drawn it out a bit more but the signs are there. Real people have psychotic breaks in situations of extreme stress and that’s what happened. It doesn’t have to be foreshadowed more than it already very clearly was.

Agree that there are some inconsistencies or annoying things that happened but overall great episode and can’t wait to see the finale. Jon better be fearing for his life and not trust dany won’t kill him but I have a feeling he’s going to try to “reach” her. Flip a coin as to what happens.

Convince her to fly away on a dragon?

I'll believe Cersei is dead when the season is over. Last night's "death" was too underwhelming.

It's true the usually explicitly show deaths. Except for Stannis.

Moose you are absolutely right. The fans are making this unbearable. I might just have to enjoy the finale without looking online/twitter for other people’s opinions.

So many people just say the dumb shit. “They threw 7 seasons of character development out the window!” That is the equivalent of just trying to say something when you really have nothing real to critique

I ended up getting like 100 likes on a tweet responding this dudes dumbass Hound tweet so I guess some people agree with me

“7 years of character build up thrown out the window”

Same fans that would be complaining if EVERY character got the ending their development was leading them to. They’d all critique it for playing it too safe. But now when characters don’t go out the way they want them to it’s a problem. Just a pathetic fan base that wanted to be disappointed from the start

See this is the problem too. People go to Twitter, Reddit, and 4chan etc and write these theories or get an idea of what should happen in their heads. Once it doesn’t come true, they start bitching and being assholes about it.

My guess for the finale. Dany orders the dragon to fry Jon. Jon just stands there as the flames don't touch him and everyone starts chanting the king the king. Arya sneaks up behind Dany and kills her then goes of to dragon stone. Sansa and Tyrion get together and are the lords of the north. Series end with Jon Brooding on the throne and the dragon curled at his feet,

Maybe Tyrion will kill Dany, ala king-slayer move.

Just be super vigilant on what you read out there. There are spoilers out there. I know someone who read them prior to last night and they were dead on accurate with last night. So doesn't bode well for the finale.

Would love this to happen.... would be a sick ending.... but, John burned himself in Season 1 throwing the torch/fire lamp at the wight.... not true "blood of the dragon"

Of course you don’t know which is a leak and which is a theory.

So I agree w dany frying Jon but this is my specific theory

Jon is going to demand the iron throne formally as the true heir knowing dany can’t rule. She is going to tell him either he is a usurper or he is who he says he is and Drogon will burn him. If he walks out the throne is his. If he doesn’t he’s a usurper and dies like he deserves.

He either walks out OR what I like even better is Drogon refuses the dracarys order and won’t burn Jon. Final betrayal of dany by her child.
