I expect a big StJohn's run to start the 2d half based upon the adjustments that "Lav" will have made in his game plan.

I have to give Otis a lot of credit on this one. Usually I'd expect to see a backhanded compliment or subtle dig at Lavin but Otis was right on the money with this prediction

What I especially like is the lack of anyone on the bench that can change the course of the game. What did Lavin build here after 5 years? Our seniors play like freshman. If we lose here, the fans, or what's left of them, will be relentless in their "fire Lavin" chants.

Branch and Jones were too of the better players in the first half.

Jones hit 2 wide open layups. Then gave up the basket at the end of the half with his matador defense. That play would not have happened without Branch taking a walk with the ball while under no pressure.

That was a perfect example. Jones slides over to help and blocks a shot. Then jones gets beat by the other teams guard and no one helps. No one helps a PF guarding a G 20 ft from the hoop?

We can't win without Obekpa on the floor - he still fouls too much
Only played 7 minutes in first half - had 2 fouls
He has to learn not to try to block every shot taken by the opponent
