What I especially like is the lack of anyone on the bench that can change the course of the game. What did Lavin build here after 5 years? Our seniors play like freshman. If we lose here, the fans, or what's left of them, will be relentless in their "fire Lavin" chants.

Branch and Jones were too of the better players in the first half.
 
I expect a big StJohn's run to start the 2d half based upon the adjustments that "Lav" will have made in his game plan.

Jones hit 2 wide open layups. Then gave up the basket at the end of the half with his matador defense. That play would not have happened without Branch taking a walk with the ball while under no pressure.

I am back from my long summer hiatus and I am happy it is hoops season.

Now then, are we really losing at HT to Mildred Pierce? WTH is going on???
 
You know the state of your front court is awful when Dangelo Harrison has 13 rebounds with 18 minutes left

If we want to list the negatives of every player we could be here all night. Branch had a few great passes. Jones had 4 points. He is the only one through 1 1/2 games who has attempted to slide over and help to draw a charge. By my count he has been robbed 2/3 times.

Dont discredit him. Still got to go get them. Hes always been a great rebounder.
 
Really discouraging that we are struggling with Franklin Pierce.

We will be embarrassed by Minnesota in msg like were 20 years ago if something doesn't change.
