Fordham game

Any info on Fordham webcast as MSG is not in South Florida where a growing Redmen contingent gathers this time of year.

I am going to miss this game (I'm going to the Texas/Temple game at Wells Fargo Center, which is at the same time as our game I think) but when I check the score on my phone I hope to see we are in control most of this game. We gotta see a killer I instinct from this team at some point

Huh? Texas/Temple? Why?

Fordham has some pretty eye opening numbers.

78.7 ppg 86th in the country
40.7 rpg 38th in the country (Mandell Thomas a 6'2 guard is pulling in 7 boards a game, Brian Smith at 6'2 is also pulling in 7 boards and so is 6'3 Brendan Frazier) Hard to think they will do the same vs. us.
14.8 apg 79th in the country

as opposed to us

70.7 ppg, 233rd in the country
38.7 rpg, 88th in the country
13.0 apg, 168th in the country.

Also for the nerds and Ken Pom's adjusted tempo stat they are 13th in the nation while we are 262nd

They play pretty much 6-7 guys.

That last stat is the most important. We need to press these guys and tire them out hopefully leading to them fouling on the defensive end.

So it proves me theory that numbers are misleading :)

Trap game.

And Fordham has absolutely nothing to lose.

MSG will have local recruits checking out both teams.

We better show up and from the start.

I am going to miss this game (I'm going to the Texas/Temple game at Wells Fargo Center, which is at the same time as our game I think) but when I check the score on my phone I hope to see we are in control most of this game. We gotta see a killer I instinct from this team at some point

Can you please explain your interest in SJU basketball since you live in Delaware? Any family affiliation with our school?

Oh yea my dad grew up in queens and went to saint Francis prep for high school and St. John's for college. My two uncles on my dad's side also went to St. John's so yea it runs in the family. As to why I'm such a big fan, my dad of course raised me too root for the johnnies but I was a loose fan during the Anthony Mason jr years (I was really young, and he was the first player I remember as a johnnie) the year I really started becoming a die hard fan with the johnnies was probably 2010 believe it or not. That year was awesome, and the first year I went to a St. John's game (Nova/SJU at Wells Fargo, we won 83-68 I believe) ever since I've been a huge die hard fan and found redmen.com probably like mid way through the year with Harkless and the just six players.

Like my kids, who didn't go to SJU but still root hard for them, you deserve 4 stars. Of course, you could still end up going to SJU.
