Great win!

Will we wind up with more ACC wins then Louisville? LOL!

Happy for Wusu and Jones, especially.

Soriano has been unbelievable.

Curbelo seems to have that "it" factor, late in close games.

Posh still not there offensively, but he has not let it affect his defense.

Agreed. And I love that about Posh, he's going to bring it defensively every single night. That keeps you on the floor with CMA. They went on that run and cut it to single digits when he went to the bench, he comes back in, and they close it out. He's the heart and leader of that team. He's starting to remind me of a guard version of Draymond Green, in terms of his game and his importance to the team.
 
Two things. Didn’t someone say I was nuts for saying Soriano could average 16 and 12? Well, 12 games in, he’s over 15/game after today’s 23 and he was already averaging more than 12 before today and pulled another 12 boards today. Young man has worked hard and deserves all the accolades.

Wusu reminds me of a more filled out, not as athletic Paris Horne. He’s not that consistent but he looked really good today and frankly got robbed a bucket on what should have a goaltend on what I thought was rather obvious rim interference. Nice hands on the awesome bounce pass by Curbelo.

Hey, we all would have signed up for 11-1, I don’t care what kind of poster you are here. Now, we get Nova and I think it’s perfect timing. No reason why we can’t walk in there and win. These kids don’t scare easy, so let’s get it!

Agree. I get nervous as well. But, the difference with this team is that we have a number of players who can get downhill or score down low which can stop droughts and runs by the opposing team. Frankly, I thought we executed the downhill strategy pretty good in 1st half and then got away from it in 2nd half. If we hadn’t, we would have won this game by 25.

Big believer in getting layups (or at least trying to).
 
Best 40 minute effort of the season. Hopefully, this bodes well for the rest of the season. If we can play like this we’ll be ok in conference. It was great to see Soriano have a great game against a team with a couple of better quality big guys. Also, we won the game by +10 on what was basically a home floor for Florida State. Onward and upward.

Game was in south Florida. FSU plays in Tallahassee. My friend who was at the game said there were more St. John’s fans in attendance.
 
Don't know if someone mentioned but my god the telecast was horrendous. The director must have been drunk because he missed at least 10 points by cuing up the wrong camera. The announcers were just plain bad. Not sure if it was the first time they called a game or if they were hitting the bar with the director
 
Good win. Nice way to build some confidence heading to real conference season. I think this FSU team is just tailor made for us in a way. They have a lot of youth, no real big man, no presence inside. If we played them 10 times in that arena, i think we win all 10. They don't really have an answer to what we are trying to do. But on the flip side, they expose that we are poor at defending the 3. Green was in the zone and we had trouble keeping tabs on him. The quality teams of the big east will have inside out presence we need to deal with. Also foul trouble can have a severe impact on the season if Soriano and Jones are caught up in that. Have to be smart. IN any event, good win. Glad Wusu coming out of this with confidence
 
Nice win. Didn't get to watch most but was watching on the scoreboard on my phone.

Good, solid win today. Got off to a decent start, and built from there. Although not a big Wusu fan, have to give credit for an outstanding outing. Huge game for him. Soriano cintinues to roll on, and nice game from Jones and Curbelo, who does drive most of us crazy. Good contributions from Posh as well. On to Nova!! Let's steal one.
 
The passing and selfless play were the keys to this game. Everyone contributed and kudos to Wusu who played a terrific game and, I think, just earned himself a start against Nova.
 
Agree with the sentiment on the awful announcing. Him with the awful lame history lessons he couldn't explain and her with: "just call me coach" UGH.
Good to see Jones slow it down with a fast break opportunity late in the game. Progress.
Love the options at the 2-3 spots, coach doing the right thing, playing the hot hand. Last game it was Storr, today it was Wusu.
Hope Soriano can keep this up when the competition gets better.
