What a game by Wusu!!! That's why I never get off the Wusu train, he's just good at too many different things.
It's amazing to me (and understandable) how at the slightest run the fandom gets nervous. Lots of trauma there. But this team is different.
I saw no Zone the whole game.
Wusu gets bashed a lot on here gotta give him credit when its due!

Nice game from wusu and Soriano. Jones didn’t do much in the second half but played a nice first half.

Well Making Plays, we find ourselves in agreement again. Wusu reminds me of a poor man’s DJ Kennedy. Jack of all trades. He’s an above average passer, rebounder, defender and ball handler. If he can finish at the rim more consistently and consistently hit the open J (or in his case, set shot) he’ll really be a key piece.
I like Mathis a lot this year and it makes me a little sad to see Wusu getting Mathis’s minutes, but today he deserved them.
nice win for the team and going 11-1 definitely meets expectations.

I've been a big defender of both Wusu and Mathis, I like both their games. Mathis to me has always just been a steady, solid, blue collar player, I like guys like that. With that said for this team to goto the next level I think Wusu needs to get more consistent and do like he did today and take Mathis' minutes.
Wusu just has more upside IMO, I think he can be just as good defensively as Mathis (and he is at times), and he has way more potential offensively, like you said above average passer, ball handler, and when he's focused he can really cause problems and attack the rim and make easy buckets, he's a nightmare match-up.... he's quicker than the forwards, and stronger than the guards.
