From The Atlantic Bounce

Ace Bailey | Wing | 6’7 | Rutgers:
This is the other guy more people will start talking about soon. He’s also in the running with Flagg as the top prospect in the class, and he might end up being outright better. Bailey is an elite shot creator but needs to channel that into higher-quality shots. He’s unreal, though.

Dylan Harper | Guard | 6’5 | Rutgers: He may be in the shadow of his Rutgers teammate (yep, Rutgers), but Harper is a fantastic point guard prospect. He isn’t a crazy athlete, but he’s extremely polished with his footwork and skills with the ball.

Ace Bailey is gonna be a LOAD.... gonna be cool to see how we fare against him... I've seen 6'10 as his height.... great team to scrimmage against

ESPN has Rutgers in the Top 25 preseason, but not us. These early rankings are always borderline ridiculous, but still, this should be a great first test for us. Glad it's being televised.

Rutgers will be one of the most fascinating teams in the country this season. The Scarlet Knights have the highest preseason expectations they've had in a long time (and maybe ever), a direct result of Steve Pikiell bringing in Airious Bailey and Dylan Harper, two of the top three recruits in the 2024 class and both projected top-five picks in the 2025 NBA draft. Pikiell also surrounded his two potential stars with veteran scorers. The return of Jeremiah Williams is a boost, along with four transfers -- Tyson Acuff (Eastern Michigan), Zach Martini (Princeton), Jordan Derkack (Merrimack) and PJ Hayes IV (San Diego) -- from the portal.

Rutgers won the northeast power conference play. Good for them. Theyve got the donors that Syracuse and bee cee just don't. 3 football conferences are where it's gonna be at and Rutgers will be the lone geographical survivor. Ende will bolt and they'll be left with one landing spot,. Big East. Yukon just doesn't have a landing spot after Big18 snub.
LIke our position more every day.

Borderline. Today's the second anniversary on Rothstein picking Yukon 24th. If they had a clue it's be frightful. We're the best team in the conference and are more in turn than these hooples. It's our year.

I totally agree with this assessment. In fact, while some will think this is crazy, I wouldn't be surprised if UConn finishes 3rd or even 4th in the Big East. Obviously they have some talented pieces (eg, Karaban, Reed), but I think that they may replicate 'Nova's performance last year. We'll see.

I remember you. We were always the most knowledgeable and subjective fans here.
Reed? Rothstein doesn't even have hime starting.
