Happened upon Veronica fish and oyster last time I was down there and had a really good meal. We'll be back in March for old man Spring break so I'll hit you up for recommendations Greg.

Great Italian food downtown Sarasota at Cafe Amici. Run by an Italian family from Italy. Great wine list as well. Many good eateries and great entertainment in Sarasota. I love it here.

Cassariano’s isn’t bad either. My wife and I have been to the location in Venice, Bradenton and Mineola. We met one of the Owners who told us about the Mineola location so we went to the one up here as well. Good food, reasonable price.

Enjoy. I have been to Cassariano's in Venice a few times. It is excellent. Another place to try in Venice is Chaz 51. It is a steakhouse with music on the weekends.
