EPL 2015-16

Swans looking like that club that will challenge the status quo top 4-5 until ultimately coming up short and finishing 7th in the end. Always had a soft sport for them given the NY Cosmos connections.

Boy what a mess Chelsea are. It's just not clicking yet

At least Chelsea have the pieces and Jose will get probably get them clicking. Man U on the other hand... I have no idea what LvG is up to.

Bought the bought some unknown French kid for $50MM and let Januzaj, Little Pea, Jonny Evans and probably the best goalie in the EPL all go... wow. He has about five of his team playing out of their natural position... I think the odds to see LvG fired just came down.

Yeah Man U are an even worse mess right now. De Gea had the writing on the wall so thats not too much of a shock but Januzaj AND chicharito leaving are head scratchers. I like their new signing but they need a forward ASAP if they want to compete this year. And thats a shame because they're not that far off since their defense has been pretty good.

Please explain the Cosmos connection for a youngin.

Chelsea set to launch £88m deadline-day bid for midfield powerhouse

Pogba is worth $150 mill if you ask me. If my math is right that's about 100 pounds. Can you say PANIC BUY for Man United with Martial? I'm sure the kid is good but that was 100% panic by doofus van Gaal

not a United fan at all but boy have United fallen on hard times from Sir Alex to this bozo. Did anyone see Di Maria this weekend? Di Maria who played an impeccable season with Real Madrid ended up injured during the World Cup. He struggled all last year to regain form, most likely due to the inordinate amount of games with RM and Argentina leading up to his inaugural MU campaign. And this clown gives up on him.

His first touch as a PSG player against Monaco this weekend he curled in a pass from the wing right on the dime to Cavani. LVG didn't even give him a chance!

For a surprise team, my money is on Crystal Palace. I think they grab a Europa spot this year. Pardew, although wacky, is a very good coach and they picked up some nice pieces. They also finished strong last season.

I think Mourinho will right the ship and Chelsea will finish in 2nd or 3rd. Can't see how United get a Champions league spot this year. They really look horrible. I wonder if they might have been better off giving Moyes some money and a little more time to develop his team. LVG hasn't been the answer.

Wenger's next press conf should be fun. He kind of got a pass for not signing a striker because Welbeck was supposed to be coming back. Turns out old glass-knee is out until 2016 and they knew this before the transfer deadline. If they do not beat Stoke by 3 next Sat, the knives will be out.

As they should
Or here's a novel thought. Play Joel Campbell. Kid has like 50 caps for Costa Rica and he's 23 or 24 years old. Everytime I've seen him, he looks good. Arsene wont play him

And played very well for sirvoos club on loan. Agree completely. Wenger keeps repeatedly saying he wants to keep Joel, well then give him a chance.

He is the English version of the Wilpons. He also had the nerve to take a dig at United for signing / overpaying for Martial. Odd to say the least

I like Campbell a lot too but he plays on the wing and that is not a place we need help. I don't see him as a central striker.

Arsenal supporters huh?

any of you guys read Hornby's "Fever Pitch"?

That book is a wonderful look at being into Arsenal...if I hadn't already been adopted by Everton when I read this, I would have gone with the Gunners methinks.

recommended.

He played Welbeck on the wing with Giroud last year. He can play up top in a quasi role.
